Once again, love watching a skilled machine operator work, great job by all of them. Watching this you guys really have added a whole lot more this year with the new line, can't wait to watch the first hits.
This is such a joy to watch for amateur builders. We struggle finding enough dirt and good places to pull it from with our mini ex at the local trails...what a dream you have to work with here!
I promised I wouldn't get carried away again watching skilled heavy equipment operators finessing their craft, yet here I am through my mtn bike channels...
Looking awesome - can't wait for the riding, just make sure you get that transition around on to the whale tail sorted, last time it didn't seem to flow properly and riders had to take pedals, maybe a berm so don't need to brake on the a flat turn.
My friends used to have a sick little riding spot called the quarry that got them started building jumps. Sadly it was bulldozed for construction a couple years ago, and they haven't had a great spot for building since. It's good to see there's still sick stuff going in a quarry somewhere in the world though.
hello sam when does the audi9 event start and can you come and watch as a tourist or is that not possible? I would love to see you in action 😀. you are awesome greetings matthias
that digger has one hell of a 'trick' shovel on the end of it...is it specially designed for this or is it used in similar municipal landscapig operations elsewhere too? 🤔
just out of interest...all this driving about on the soil, compacting it down with heavy machinery can't be all that good for it right? Do you do anything to return it to a natural state following to allow the soil to recover following your shenanigans?
@@giacomo_m3 if an active quarry then mayb. If it's now disused, the condition of the soil being used to landscape it is definitely not something to be sniffed at.
It’s a quarry mate, it was mined 30 years ago and now it’s a hole in the ground that companies pay to fill up with dirt from construction, everything is slowly being buried year on year. And it doesn’t matter how hard you compact dirt, plants will grow on it if that’s what you mean by a natural state!
@@SamReynolds26 someone's not seen Clarkson's Farm then. In the UK they have regulations regards soil compaction....admittedly, in an arable setting (well, I think it's only arable settings at least). If you damage the land while it's damp and soft, you have to put it right again or you will be fined. Dumping soil from landworkings elsewhere may not cause this compaction per se as it is just dumped in a lose fill state.

I don’t think it’s ever open to the public and who’s going to be riding that😂

Hey Sam great video and the drone footage is killer. Which drone are you using mate.

They use it every year tho and it was a quarry so it is kind of recycling a dead space

Lucky it’s a rock quarry and not a farm then!
