Butler and FL had terrific chemistry! I would love to see them playing father and daughter in a drama that'll allow their comedic chemistry and adoration shine through. I wasn't quite sold on the character of the ML even though I've seen him in other roles, and he was brilliant! I just wished their romantic chemistry was developed more and "misunderstanding" cut short. I did enjoy their banter and the FL's money grubbing role. She was hilarious 😂 however, the drama itself was a bit It anticlimactic for me. I do have to note that the vertical drama guys are bulking up and looking sexier and charismatic, giving the mainstream drama guys a run for their money, in my opinion 😊😅
I've seen two other versions and agree that this was the least dramatic. My favorite version of this play was was with the ruthless FL who stepped over Lu Beichen and walked away when he coughed blood and fell.
This is my first time seeing someone who time travel but know nothing about the novel 😂 I'm glad can see Lanlan's new drama every month. Her style and make up in this drama is good.
I felt it was more realistic that way. When I read books, I remember a lot of the big details, but it's easy to forget the little details. So it makes sense that the FL wouldn't remember where she lives. I did think it was a stretch that she wouldn't remember the ML's name, but now that I think of it, in the novel he was probably a minor secondary character, and the scumbag love interest was a main character.
It's not realistic that she can't remember major details like her husband's name when in the beginning she's literally reciting lines with the characters
I loved the movie, i didn't like how they rushed the ending. I love the FL lead who was true to herself, didn't allow rumors to affect or influence her, she didn't even bash the second FL or Second ML, trying to prove that she was wrong, she just allowed people to figure out the truth themselves. I still have lots of question, that weren't clarified in the movie.
If we have a happy and cheerful person around us if forget every grudge and pain.. FL give warm and happy feeling so a cruel ML become soft for her.. Nice drama.. I want to see more romantic moment between them.. ❤❤❤
The butler was amazing in this I was truly engaged by his character. The male lead made me giggle every time he went to throttle the female lead talking about " it will soon be over" 😅😅😅😂 The female lead balanced his moody by being fun and flirty. This was fun..
ML misunderstood FL way too long, he is a coward, gosh why does most MLs wants FL to admit their feelings first, the ideal man for me was the butler, most of the time its either the butler, secretary or driver who are sensible, gentleman, trusting, thoughtful and knows how to comfort a woman, while MLs are just narcissistic, cold, has trust issues, not able to communicate with FL and love being entangled with another woman😂 it doesnt make any sense why FL and ML end up together😂
Okay... So here's the tea... She went into a novel, and once there she knew nothing of the story and characters.. A bit dumb but okay, we go with the flow.. She makes back up her friendship with her classmate and I'm glad for that.. Their friendship was good.. loved it.❤.. She realizes that she's no green tea for 2nd ML and of course cuts him off but he still thinks she's in love with him.. Pretty dumb if you ask me..(side note: Ive never seen him as a main lead before tho🤔 hes always this 2nd ML and bitchy as hell) Back to the green tea 2nd FL.. Did this brat really try to copy our FL in looks and ways??😂 I mean I get jealousy but seriously to go all the way like that😂😂 Our ML is pretty handsome but he's very indifferent to our FL.. Although he does grow attached to her, he just doesn't show it.. His family dynamics are terrible as hell so i can understand him being sorta the way he is.. The award for best actor would definitely go to the butler 😊 He was hilarious and his acting very good.. His interactions with the FL was drama gold.. The plot wasn't as good as I'd expected but it was okay.. I loved how the FL didn't let anyone and the rumors get to her.. Her concerns for food was funny.. even in the middle of a showdown with 2nd ML and 2nd FL she still remembered to take the plate of fruit she was eating 😂.. Like carry on dummies😂 And when the butler thought she was upset and brought cake😂.. The drama has many funny scenes that makes it good.. but the story was rushed at the end and left you with that incomplete feeling... Like they never confessed to each other. She never got to tell ML that she really didn't like the other guy.. We never got to see if he was cured of whatever condition he had.. The FL didn't get proper revenge on the 2nd FL either.. So yes, the ending will leave you disappointed.. Of lately that seems to be the trend with these dramas.. and it's pretty annoying.. esp to people like me who indulge in these dramas alot.. But I'm just a simple viewer.. we really have no say in how they make these dramas.. but I sure wish I did😊😂 So that's my two cents on this.. Story: 5/10 ML : 7/10 FL : 9/10 Best characters: The Butler 😂 Rewatch value: 6/10
