Declan lives out the way in Bandon and met him one even in centra and just said ~even the great Declan Synott has to do his own shopping and walked on ~ I could hear him laughing to himself as I went around the aisle , lovely lad and one heck of a guitar player and not a bad singer either and I think one of the best rendition of this song by a mile
I've been to see him and Christy Moore now a few times and love when he plays this, keep up the good work deccie

Use go and see him every Monday night with his band The Scam, just superb on that Strat, fabulous memories of one of my favourite bands with Pat Crowley Keyboards, Brian Calnan Drums and Bill O’ Brian on Bass.
Such great singing, such a great song.. And with his signature excellent guitar playing, what more could one ask for?
