2023 Elko Pop Con Highlights

The inaugural Elko Pop Con, held in August of 2023, brought the pop culture spirit to Elko, Nevada. Over two exciting days at the Elko Convention Center, fans of all ages celebrated their favorite comics, movies, video games, and more. Attendees dressed up in elaborate costumes (cosplay) for the competition, with a grand prize of $1500! A bustling vendor hall offered a treasure trove of comics, art, crafts, and all sorts of pop culture merchandise. Panels and workshops provided opportunities to learn new skills, discuss fandoms, and participate in interactive activities. The Elko Pop Con was a resounding success, solidifying itself as a premier event for Elko's geeky community.
