Welcome to i Scream Games Network!
Join me, as I play as Renée, a 16 years old in the year of 1938 in Italy. She finds herself locked up in an asylum with little memory of what got her there in the first place. "A danger to herself and others and a cause of public scandal" wrote the police headquarters. She struggles to distinguish memories from imagination, and her story slowly unfolds in this heartbreaking storytelling.

The game is so creative and mesmerizing. The meaning and details are astounding! It’s nice to see how much care and attention was put to raise the reality of mental institutions and what patients go through. Even today conditions of mental facilities have been improved, but still, it is worse than a prison to end up in… Respect to game creators and thanks for the play through!
I wish that the developers of this game made a sequel/DLC from the perspective of Amara.
Just realized Cryaotic voiced the English narrator. lol
There several moments when some dialogue options appear. Do the different choices make any difference later in game, affect the ending or something else?
my understanding is that the dialogues might change based on the responses, but there seems to be only 1 ending..
@@iscreamgamesnetwork And what a terrifying ending it is, a true horror, the entire story is very heavy. You know, I'm especially touched by it because I share much of the experiences depicted in this game. I've spend quite some time in various asylums myself. While I can confirm the conditions are improved somewhat in comparison, it still can be a horrifying experience depending on the circumstances.

@@iscreamgamesnetwork Thank you so much for the heart and the reply! The book is available to buy online (I don't have it but I've seen some videos here on UA-cam and I noticed some similarities). Just asking because I'm curious. 🙂 Your channel is awesome, by the way.
While I do enjoy your videos, you really need to stop breezing through all the story elements of the game. That's probably the biggest reason why a lot of people watch these games. But you click off the notes, letters, diaries, journals, pictures, and items so damn fast that even pausing is a challenge. You have to hit pause at **just** the right moment or you don't get it. I'm not saying you have to wait 5 minutes before moving on ... but more than 2 seconds would be nice. Without the lore and story elements, we're just watching someone run around opening up cupboards, picking up keys, and unlocking doors that reveal more keys -- and so forth.
