- Police remain on Columbia University’s campus, even after clearing out student protesters and their encampment. But questions remain about how the university and the students move forward. Tina Trinh reports from New York.

You don't know the difference between a person professionally & calmly delivering the news & a WHISPER?? You've been watching Alex Jones, apparently. Screaming is not news. So much corporate (for profit) news has become infotainment that you can't even listen to a regular voice without thinking it's a whisper! Im hoping this teaches the Deans the animals theyve produced and the students about rules and consequences. Protests were the weapin of those currently in power, it stands to reason they know how to systematically dismantle them while being within the bounds of the law in assition to knowing all these students are 99% bluster and the mention of their loans ceasing or coming due will get them off the law and back in their seats. So its not a matter of raids or breaking up the party, ots having Deans identify the instigators and suspending them from their free ride. (loans)
Loans aren’t a free ride, it’s grants and scholarships.
Loans are those things that put students in tremendous amounts of debt but allow them to go to school.
I’m not for what’s going on, just saying what you’re saying is wrong about loans being a free ride. Loans are a debt you carry with you when you leave the institution.

What did they expect? Attacking other students for their religion and country of origin is not what we do here. Israel will not cease to exists. There should be reforms and Israel needs a new new leader. But they will not cease to exist. And what is the difference between attacking Jewish students or Muslim students? Both are stupid ideas.
Protests like this helped end racial segregation and shortened the Vietnam War. They can help end the genocide in Palestine as well, keep on protesting!

Yes it did, but that was 3 or 4 generations ago. New rules, new management and the kids of that era are in charge and know how to dismantle protests and ignore them.
The Palestinian murdered thousands, the media complex blindly believes Hamas numbers, its not a palestinian genocide, but they sure AF tried to genocide the Israelis. 71% of the population supported Oct. 8th, thats 71% that can be culled in my opinion.
As far as im concerned, every syudent should be brought before the Deans to be assessed for
A.) Academic suspension
B.) Forfieture of college credits
C.) Expulsion for the college and immediate loan repayment
D.) The ringleaders have all 3 of the above, non citizens immediately deported and citizen brought to task for illegal congregation on private property ir whatever its called so they can be held accountable for their actions.
VOA did not address the reason for the protests, the genocide in Gaza which is being funded and armed by the USA. These college protests are completely tame compared to the 2019 riots in Hong Kong, yet the police response has been far more violent in the USA compared to Hong Kong. So why isn't VOA supporting this struggle against authoritarian repression and genocide???

Because there is no genocide. If there was a genocide then we wouldn't be looking at these protests in the first place nor would the Palestinian war machine be able to pump out so much propaganda. Further more the US is now because of these terrorist sympathizers earlier actions already supporting the Palestinian war machine with aid being shipped in.
We are once again literally supporting a terrorist state that is openly hostile to us.
What we see here is an abuse and warping of our rights against us to further aid our enemies.
