I think the Albedo comparison is apt. She's an easy skip, but also easy to drop into a lot of teams. And then there's the uncertain future... a 4th slot member sits on the edge of irrelevance because at any point, a new character that interacts with and benefits the team in a meaningful way could come into existence. But maybe there will be a future character that changes her from a 4th slot character to something more. Didn't really happen for Albedo, but maybe it'll happen for her. Or maybe it won't. I wonder how well shed work in a burning team. For example nahida bennet xiangling navia. The double pyro should help her attack (+bennet buff) while the crystalize pyro shields should help protect from the burning dmg. The constant pyro application will help her get tons of crystal shields ez
Many people still think geo is “bad” because it can’t do reaction. But people forget swirling exists. The only thing makes swirl not look bad because of VV set, by nature, swirl does fuck all.
Swirl does alow you to trigger other reactions too like in soup teams but I still agree geos problem isn't reactions it's how few characters there are and how restricted they are. Wasn't hu Taos best team before yelan double geo with zhongli, albedo, xingqui? I think Xiao teams played double geo too at one point. Albedo and zhongli were good because they had no restrictions because they were off field units and together gave geo res which offered damage bonus, after that we got itto who's a hyper carry, goro who is his support but restricts him to mono geo to maximize his buff, and yun jin who is ok but only for normal attack focused units. Noel go a big buff with Furina and her teams don't even use reactions.
@@marky4627 aint gonna lie, most of the time, i use swirl because of VV set, using swirl to trigger other reaction is kinda like 1.0 meta to me. I don’t know, i use Hutao Zhongli sometimes Xiangling or Mona and Xingqiu before Yelan, but I mostly used sucrose or kazuha for CC. I don’t know about that geo xiao team, i used the 2 anemo (xiao and sucrose/kazuha), fish and Bennett. Geo RES sounds not useful in team that doesn’t have geo dps tbh. Noel got a big buff from Furina for sure
You are correct that anemo is down there with cryo, though both are still above geo, when looked at mostly in a vacuum. And like geo, anemo usage in a team is more based around a character kit or two, rather than anything else. However, VV does exist, and the geo equiv isn't nearly as easy to use, nor is it quite as beneficial. And so anemo (by which, people really mean Kaz or Sucorse) is considered good, while geo isn't
@@Axterix13 tbf, Cryo can do Melt but as current meta, it is not as reliable as Vape or other metas reactions but it is still more useful. And yeah, anemo is good mainly the existence characters and the VV set which is still very strong

i think she would be a good subdps for noelle or ninguang Sup setup-> Navia skill+burst-> Noelle/Ningguang's peak dmg -> navia skill-> Noelle/Ningguang again -> rotation restart
Ah Archaic Petra. I used to use it to Albedo when he was freshly out back at 1.2 but since I have enough Geo unit I end up change it with that one artifact I forgor the name in Inazuma for mono geo team as battery. I feel like Navia need a Geo team that can benefit their team after getting the crystal and it's probaly gonna be rare to see future Geo unit that is more defense scaling.
New set in general is much better, golden troupe only if you are using her for her E alone and even in those cases it's cope. Only use it if you have a good golden troupe set and don't want to grind her set.
At this point I’m only focusing on my favourite old teams and on the characters I really like playing. I’m playing since 2020 buying Welkin and Battle Pass. I have a good team of every element. From Sumeru I got only Nahida, then Wanderer C1 (the character whose gameplay I enjoy the most). From Fontaine I got only Furina c6. Now I’m saving Primogems for the next unit that will catch my interest.
Chevereuse doesn't work for Aggravate. Her kit requires you to only have *Electro* and *Pyro* in your team. This means she can be good for *Overload* and not Aggravate. ;)
I can see a lot of people pulling for Navia, regardless of her DMG numbers ( a very well written female character, yea they exist), but not going all-in about constellation, or even her BiS cool weapon. Like it happened for Neuvi, she will get her best support in upcoming patches, not strong as Furina, but way better than everything available atm. PS: the GER of triple Scientist was wonderful.

She would be the geo best unit over multiple teams than others, maybe not against Noelle, but they work together well enough. Itto is just glued to mono geo and will stay there for as long as Gorou is only def buffer. Noelle is stuck with hydro and geo, either double geo double hydro, mono geo with Furina, or mono hydro with Furina. Otherwise, she is back to hyperbloom. Navia on other hand would be in Navia national, a hypercarry with Furina, a double hydro, a double pyro, a double cryo, a mono geo in quickswap, or in Wet Rock. She is the Ayato of geo. It's literally that. Both with a quickswappable presence of E, a prolonged elemental application in AoE of Q, and versatile but not the best. Ayato however has a better element, lesser restrictions, and most of his sub dps is throughout multiple attacks while Navia does through a burst of her skill. And Navia's elemental resonance helps her more than Ayato's helps him.
How about Ningguang in double geo teams with Navia. Ning's best teams are double geo and double pyro, I have C6 Ning but not Zhongli so I guess Navia can fit well?

What's appreciated is that she can swap off with little downside compared to Itto, so she can fit well alongside Noelle. Plus, she may just help be a sub dps with Archaic Petra for off fielder teams like National duo or an aggravate team cope.
@@finnthedog5321 You are wrong. Crystalize shield from full EM character is very strong. Only issue is... why the frick you would build geo on full EM?? And why not just going with shielder? In practice yeah, they provide little. Not nothing, no. But very little. It's not about crystalize shields being weak, but scaling and mechanic in a weird spot, get facts straight.
I'm having a nostalgia trip with the donkey kong OST in the background, lol
Homa with refinement 2 just made me so sad, imagine using this other one on another character 😢
So basically: She's the best Geo DPS, but not the best DPS
Thank you. It is now clear as day.
Even so, I shall remain loyal to my Noelle no matter the temptations.
Questions I ask myself:
1. Is she worth it when you have C2 Itto with R1 Redhorn? - No.
2. Does she rework geo, or is the crystallize shard being ammo just a gimmick in itself and not really bringing something new to the element? - This is not yet the geo rework I am hoping for.
3. Why doesn't she scale off defense? - I don't know. Immediate lost synergy to the Gorou buff.
Navia aside, at this point whenever new units release, I consider more of what they can do that others don't. If they just do damage, then it's harder to justify. Same reason I skipped Lyney, Neuvillette and Wriothesley, but made sure to get Furina.
Also, maybe I'm one of the few who doesn't feel any pull towards Navia. I just don't like her as others do, character and design wise. Not even her back story in the Archon quest.
I have a different way to look at it.
1) What is the hardest content in the game? *Spiral Abyss.*
2) Is the Spiral Abyss so difficult that it requires playing only the top *meta* teams?
*No.*
3) Can you clear all the content in the game regardless?
*Yes.*
My Conclusion:
*Just pull for characters that you like, find cool, enjoy, etc. It's all meaningless anyways. Have fun.*

I shared my view in response to that topic.
What about you? What are you hoping to add to the conversation with your comment?
@@ElTestok what i mean is your comment literally added nothing to the discussion whatsoever as the og commenter isnt talking about how much they like navia as a character. They are specifically talking about the uniqueness in her kit/gameplay and how they feel its not unique enough to warrant pulling.
Your comment is riding the high ground with this "pull for characters you like" Like that isnt a given. People like characters for different reasons. To me it seemed you didnt even know the reason the og commenter is conflicted on pulling her. They arent thinking about pulling navia to clear the abyss. Not everyone pulls to clear abyss.
She is 5 star ningguang and her artifacts set is here to buff ningguang.
Navia is like zhongli in our teams
Yep I’m getting c2 navia. I know it’s not meta but I don’t a 5 geo character and I like her design.
When Navia bangs opponents... 🤨🧐🫣😶🌫️😶😏😋😅
And also wants to *come* on field *multiple times* per rotation 😂
I feel like navia can work pretty well with c6 ningguang since both of them have almost the same amount of field time and ning's jade increases geo damage so a team of them and bennet and furina might be her best team
That make me want to use my Ningguang with my friend in co-op when he got Navia.
As a Noelle main from day 1, I'm not replacing my queen with anyone. Good luck to anyone who wants to pull Navia, though ❤
If navia got some crazy multipliers then yes but genshin devs are afraid of making broken characters tho so wont expect much

I'd like it if they reworked geo and created new crystallise reactions ...

Must pull because she's hot lol 😂 j/k
But will pull because we haven't had a Geo 5 ⭐ in a long time and her kit is pretty interesting (constellations to be determined...)
I will not pull for Navia exclusively because I don't have another geo character to pair with her. I could use Ningguang but I don't like using her, probably when Chiori releases I'd pull for her but I'd be losing potential for like 6 months until Chiori is released?
i think she would be a good subdps for noelle or ninguang
Sup setup-> Navia skill+burst-> Noelle/Ningguang's peak dmg -> navia skill-> Noelle/Ningguang again -> rotation restart

Ah Archaic Petra. I used to use it to Albedo when he was freshly out back at 1.2 but since I have enough Geo unit I end up change it with that one artifact I forgor the name in Inazuma for mono geo team as battery. Also, so Golden troupe for Navia too? Or new set?
New set in general is much better, golden troupe only if you are using her for her E alone and even in those cases it's cope. Only use it if you have a good golden troupe set and don't want to grind her set.
At this point I’m only focusing on my favourite old teams and on the characters I really like playing. I’m playing since 2020 buying Welkin and Battle Pass. I have a good team of every element.
From Sumeru I got only Nahida, then Wanderer C1 (the character whose gameplay I enjoy the most). From Fontaine I got only Furina c6. Now I’m saving Primogems for the next unit that will catch my interest.
she's also sooooo pretty :)
I already have an answer for the question. I will pull for Navia

Im really curious as to how well team Itto Goro Navia Zhongli would be? If Navia is a capable sub-dps or dps, then maybe the same would go for Itto??

Hey, I wanted to ask if chevrouse will change aggrivate as the best reaction for electro carry.
Chevereuse doesn't work for Aggravate.
Her kit requires you to only have *Electro* and *Pyro* in your team.

Hey TGS, what are your thoughts on running Navia on Sac Greatsword? Haven't heard anyone consider it besides Zajef, but it seems interesting.
This cope of comparing 5☆ units with 4☆ is depressing since the Yelan vs Xingquiu situation, it's a fruitless way to understand kits.
Well, since she's attack scaling and a DPS, I kind of doubt that best support bit, because Benny and Furina. Hard to top, you know?
How is Navia well written 💀, all I remember is her crying
@@Axterix13 They could be a support that enables better synergy with Furina and crystallized simultaenously. So imagine a crystallized healer. Each shard picked up heals the team, and each shard gives a dmg bonus like archaic petra.
Crying and being a bitch to Furina in her story quest💀
The Hydro Sovereign casually seating on the Must pull list, while every other DPS is luxury item
I love her design and Im on gurantee so I will ve rollong her anyway, probably pair her with my Albedo.
I also happen to have an R2 Unforged sitting in my inventory from having no luck on the wep banner, so finally someone can make use of it. I dont have the rolls to pull the wep aswell.
Impressive, very nice
Jstern and Zajef said she has no teams she is good at 😢

Navia Speedrunning
Ayato Theory Crafting when?
Who? Is that a leaked unit?
No need, just put him anywhere and he'll work. There is no need to give directions where every direction is correct. Except for some dumb teams like trying to play him with Gorou, Faruzan or similar niche support that does nothing for him. But if you want to maximise his dmg then I guess Ayato, Furina, Yunjin, Jean. The rotation would probably be: Ayato Q Furina EQ, Yunjin EQ, Jean EQ, Ayato HoldN, Ayato ER 140, Furina ER 200 , Yunjin ER 200, Jean ER 200 (if you use 3 favs you'll have a good time) (disclaimer, take this with grain of salt, i am not theorycrafter just random person with some experience with ayato)

Not having Raiden in top tier is a crime
Okay, I have a big desbelief is someone says that "Navia is probably the best geo unit" because that is straight up a bold lie lmao.
I get it that people want her to work, they want her to be good, is just that she is neither flexible nor stronger than what a Noelle or a Itto can do in their dedicated teams.
Let's just hope that Chiori actually fixes things...
I don't get it how anyone can say character useless without even releasing
@@sivasankars808 She is not useless, I never said that.
If saying that she is useless before realeasing is dumb, then saying she is "the best geo unite" before realeasing is equally dumb.
@@FichaGris I saw many comments shes like dehya (good character, worst kit) so
She is flexible though. Any team that has time for her to come in and use her skill will fit her.
Can you compare her with albedo in a noelle team
6:27 i read some familar text in ur team comp
