I don’t know about stealing the show!! But hey man, it was a great pleasure! I’ve been wanting to jam together since all those years ago at Ocean Blues (R.I.P) and Im so glad we finally got to do so. I love the last three minutes, I felt like we really found the groove and it showed some great potential. Would love to do it again. Hope you’re doing great! Keep on rockin Rockstar!
This man is filled with never ending talent, and he always seems to find someone in the audience with the same. Bravos, and thank you for sharing your time and talent with us!, for you are special and blessed!😊😊😊😊😊
I have a weird personality. I don't laugh. Like pro & semi-pro standup comics, I tend to turn to whoever's there and say, "That's funny." I think Im on some kind of spectrum. Not autism per se. Maybe the Buzzkill Index.
I am surprised there are not hordes of people there to listen to these two. Together they are really good. I hope you all realize how hard to it is to play like they did the pentatonic scales are easy but not at the speed that they run through them. Excellent guys!!!!!!!🙏👏
Dude...beyond amazing! There you are with folks and dogs in the park playing a flawless duet. The kind of music that should be pulling down the big bucks on stage. The two of you should hit it big time.
I have been playing guitar since 1977...I am 59 years ago and every morning I have my cup of coffee and play my 76 Telecaster Deluxe and love it. I don't come close to your caliber of playing but I see that you love playing too. Keep going..❤ Wade Welch from Alberta Canada
I agree with others,… There should have been a huge crowd hanging out to listen to the two of you jam! The musicianship you both shared was wicked awesome!
@@CCClint No question about that. I wished the guest would have slowed it down on a few rounds and did some question and answering a little more. Of course as casual as his approach was, you know his heart was pounding and getting ready for those runs. Definitely not an intermediate guitarist that for sure. That was great. He's not going to take that American's job !!
Everyone has their own creative feel for what they call home. Gustave is clearly very talented and it's really fun to watch these two mesh their styles! At some points I see Dovy actually trying to emulate Gustaves style with some of the muted riffs. You can tell these two are as professional and respectful as they come. Just a good ol fashion public jam session!!! Very raw! But definitely finding their way home too!!! Very cool!
DØVYDAS, thanks for posting another video for me to enjoy! You could see DØVY was going to love this jam from his expression after Gastav's first run. Couple of guitar berserkers wreaking melodic havoc in St Armand's circle! People, never forget to GOVERN YOURSELVES ACCODINGLY! . If you have been following DØVY for more than a minute you know that line is a gift from Sarasota that keeps on giving.
I just binge watched every video I could in a 4 hour window and I am memorized how you can learn songs so quickly... I grew up with friends using synthesizers and other equipment and you just ease through it. Love how you engage with people and invite other musicians to play. Love the creativity. I love St Armand's Circle I grew up visiting the area... my grandparents were snowbirds from Canada so Bradenton/Sarasota is like a second home to me. This was a really cool jam guys! Keep up the awesome entertainment! Much love
So good to see two passionate musicians doing their best thing they enjoy in life the most just playing their instruments and enjoying life beautiful peace brothers.
Skilled players. From an old guy that doesn’t really matter: there were moments when you guys were making Music together and taking cues off each other’s melodic ideas; and times when you each were practicing your speed arpeggios and scale exercises. I prefer the music. By a whole bunch. I know it was your first time playing together and there is only so much control you can have of these situations, and you are brave and adventurous and you did great.
Gustav's sick runs make me crazy!! Virtuoso is an understatement. Finally someone that matches Dovydas's amazing skills. Never thought I'd see it. Yes, the last three minutes are magic, you guys fell into the same exact groove, just beautiful. One complimented the other. You played with each other not against each other. I'm a bit shocked. That was nothing short of brilliant. I got that for free!
Guests often are wonderful even spectacular; however Dovydas sets it up. i don't know music but his "mixing" of symbols, drums, etc" this is his perfection, and add to that an exceptional guitarist, and oh by the way he can sing. I love his guests but he is the KEY to the lock
Dovydas is incredible playing any kinda music genre. Just name it: Blues; pop,; pop-rock,: R&B, gospel: country; heavy metal: electric dance; folk music from various countries (he's just as fluent in Russian as he is in Lithuanian and English); and more. To me, Dovydas sometimes sounds better than the original hit song. He changes his voice for the composition, and it's naturally aesthetic. Yeah, he plays a mean harmonica, keyboard, drums, guitar, and more to perfection. The man has impeccable timing, and is superbly skilled in synchronizing it all while composing on the spot with his equipment. He makes it all so smooth, that it all seems easy, yet how many of us can do all this (and impromptu) at this level? The man went thru hell for ten years in an abusive relationship, and lost a dear immensely talented band member/ friend (RIP Allan Cook), yet he had that rare gift to entertain thousands; making us laugh, cry and smile from his humor and amazing music. We're blessed to hear and watch this man perform.
He says it's March but the upload says 50 minutes ago. Beautiful guitars talking. Wish you lived near Rhode island connecticut.would love to sing with you guys
Another Dovy does his thang for not knowing what they were going too do..they did it well…Fort Worth TeXas here and man y’all nailed it! I remember being your 60th follower and look at you now!..dude 1.5 mill…good to see this. And of coarse can’t never leave out the better half..your videoagrapher!
Labadien Dovydas....following you for a while now. Your talent amazes me but your humour about 'stealing American Jobs' nailed it completely. Maybe not there in the US, but here in Europa we all cracked up ! All the best for someone who is able to call Lithuania a 'second home land' for at least 15 years now. Keep the videos coming....
I've been playing guitar casually for 20+ years. One thing I know for sure is that it's not all about speed. The widdly stuff (sweeping, etc) can sound cool occasionally but it's no substitute for emotion and a well timed bend, or just holding a nice note with vibrato, etc.
So many brilliant players out there. Right place at the right time and a bit of luck also. Many out there that have made the big time are no better than u guys !!!!
I don't know where this was filmed, but I'm guessing Southern California where there are so many supremely (and undiscovered) talented people, that we're (I say as a resident of the region) just used to it. What else could explain this fantastic concert with almost no audience?! I swear, if I'd been walking by, I totally would have stopped to enjoy!
Dovydas and Gustav playing together, winging it the whole way, was to me way beyond "good", but maybe the "understatement of good" was for effect, Briarz. :)
@@jerryrivers4256 it was, but am a big fan of Dovy, like what he's done with so little, he is talented." Winged it"meaning that on short notice and by talent to make it work, not like there was plenty of time to practice , far as I know, and good means good

I agree that the ending was getting really fun. I wish it didn't end haha

I love how Dovydas gets as much pleasure from his guests playing as we do. Thank you for this wonderful music gentlemen. 🙏🏼🇬🇧
Absolutely.
That’s what jammin is all about
@@bigredfred33 Absolutely. It's not about compitition with a Jam Session but the love of music.
It is wonderful to see the two of you enjoying each other's contribution 🇬🇧

Gustav and his guitar are spectacular! This was so fun! Would love to hear you both together again… Fabulous! 👏🏻👏🏻Happy 10th anniversary! 💜💜
These impromptu sessions are what separates you from the rest, Dovydas! 💯💪
Aren't they _all_ impromptu?
Not impromtu at all ,great musicians but its all rehersed ,lots of noodeling
@@flamingseven8447 So you're saying the only way for two guys to play solos over a drum beat is if they rehearse it first?
