My word! you have a lot of hair!😍😍 your one quadrant is like my whole head of hair🤣 Love your channel. I don’t spend much time raking or separating my hair anyway, so I’ll try not raking. Thank you for sharing.😊
I’m always amazed at people that can rake and not lose any hair. Maybe my hair is just fragile because it comes out if I rake. I just smooth and go, no shingling either.
Interesting to see this on your hair. When i use this method, i shake my hair when it is still wet, so it separate naturally. As for the flakes it might be the orange marmalade. It always flaked on my hair.
You’re right it depends on the combo I’m using. Kinky curly or using ebbs as my topper naturally separates my hair. UFD I have to shake my hair to separate the curls.
Your hair looks gorgeous as always. And i think what they were referring to by saying no rake method is the best for type 4 hair is because smoothing and separating or just shaking the hair before drying actually helps with giving our hair reduced volume and shine at least with my hair.
I think overall it looked nice, but yeah more work than usual for you after drying. I don't always rake and I tend to separate the clumps more than rake but it's a similar process/end goal. When I don't rake or separate much (especially if I want to be Fast) I do shake the hair to get smaller clumps. The roots lie less flat then but that's not an issue for me.

Same! I always say my hair is not "rakeable" b/c I would just be ripping my hair from top to bottom if I did. I thought I was an anomaly.

Beautiful hair 😍😍😍😍
It almost look like the way some guys wear their dreads( before u separated it) i like it.

I started doing this during my experiments with the anthony dickey method, I do prefer to comb the ends after though to prevent frizz.
Your hair is beautiful and looks amazing! 🥰💙.. Great video! Thank you 💙
I don’t do much raking but can’t wait to no rake. I mostly smooth.
I rake (a little) but I realised there's no need for it since I'll still shake my head but I rake still😂😂
i got nervous when you said it was foaming lol
I have type 4 hair and I don't rake. I just smooth and go. The hair separates by itself.
🥰🥰🥰
Interesting! It’s giving lasagna noodles curls. I wonder how it will be with different density and hair texture. I’ll try out next wash day
Yeah, I definitely don't bother with raking. Just prayer hands and go.
