We are looking out of state. It is for family reasons and not the 8000 ft altitude. The altitude is a challenge for growing. We would suggest starting with crops that are already known to do well at that elevation. Root vegetables like carrots, turnips, and potatoes have done well for us as well as green beans and pumpkins.
Are you moving out of state?
I have a difficult time trying to grow at high altitude here in Colorado.
