That's what I don't like about the song. Straightforward piano covers are better imo simply because the chords are so outstanding, a credit to Radiohead's talent
Thank you very much for this. I've just finished your whole tutorial and can now play it just to the point where i can busk around it. I'm having great fun. Really appreciate this tutorial. Please keep them coming. Regs Karl
That's how the tutorials have to be made! No chatting, no annoying "put your finger on fret X", just displaying how to play. Probably the notation would be perfect to add, but ok with tabs since I know this song so well after listening to it 9001+ times.
You did a great job here. How long does it take you to figure out a tough song like this? I can figure out pop songs pretty easily but this esoteric stuff always throws me.
Good starting point. Very easy to learn. Sounds better when you figure out a good strumming pattern vs. finger picking the multiple notes at the same time.
Very good Tutorial! :) Add: A very nice variation for the Cm7 is: "X1101X", also easier for beginners to handle i think. Add2: A very nice Variation for the Dbmaj7 in the later Part of the Song, which is also used live by Greenwood on the ChaosPad, is: X4353X.
really cool! but i've found some mods that help you do that "drone" leggato notes, the beggining I do 1st fret on 2nd string, 1st fret 3rd string, open 3rd string, the rest like you, but the Eb6 I do 1st fret second string, open 3rd string, 1st fret 4th string.
This song is so weird instrumentally. This is why I love Radiohead. They're the masters of unorthodox instrumentation.
This was written on a piano, but yeah they are the masters at that exact thing.
The main keyboard is very much like flamenco

Fantastic lesson man, my favourite Radiohead song. Never even tried to attempt this on guitar and this is so addictive to play.
very impressive. one of my favorite Radiohead songs ever!

Like like the guitar itself you are pulling out that somber tone like a boss.

Mate, love this! So well arranged. Perhaps I'm being daft, but what's the tab to transition back to the chorus from the bridge? Part 4 back to part 2.
Thanks man
Very nice version men!!
Thank you so much. The timing of this song drove me crazy for a long time. Now it all makes sense! Still don’t know how to count it though. Anyone?
Well it’s 5/4 for a start.
10/4@@ourtinywindows
Thanks a lot!
Glad you like it!

Can we get a tutorial on how you do the backwards loop?
@@clementkee1993 He'll just have a loop station and set it too what hes played to play it backwards lol
Amazing shit...
Very well done! So diff. to conduct such a masterpiece
More to come
No problem!
Beautiful! Love the North Face jacket as well.
love u man!
now, that's guitar playing -
Great job! If I may ask, what's that chord at the 3:48 mark?
Let me know here if you sorted it out! not quite getting what he's doing there
very good. Except in the second part starting on the F Major, I wouldn't call that chord a Dflatmaj7, it's a Dflatmaj13
This is damn hard to play lol
nice I like the tabs!
i love you
Really sounds like Nick Drake when done on guitar!
Who’s that
holly shit.....nice work
aint easy....
Nick Burns, your company's computer guy
Man… I just wanna play the instrumental and sing the vocals 😅
Y you gotta only have the melody on the guitar like that yo
Black Star plsssssss
Part 1 0:24
Part 2 1:17
Part 3 2:07
Part 4 2:54
Whole song 3:55
Is the A string in a difference tuning????

Hi, what tuning is this in, sorry?

Sorry, last chord is missing an important note.
At least one a week

This is what happens when Radiohead meets Flamenco
Beautifully played.
