- Today, We're going to be looking into what happens onboard an Airbus A320 when the Pressurization system fails. We'll start small with the CPC (Cabin Pressurization Controller) fails, the move onto a move Intense Rapid / Explosive Decompression.
We'll show you the ins and outs of handling this situation and how to get back on Mother Earth safely!

Thanks lot for the comprehensive teaching. I have not seen in any channel demonstrating things like this. Great work and we are really blessed to have a channel like this
Thanks! 🙏🏽 glad you like our content 😁🤙🏽
Extremely well explained.
As I understand, in explosive rapid decompression we MUST NOT increase the air speed to avoid further aggravation of the cause. Hence the FCOM says to HOLD the speed (indicated) at the time of initial decompression.
Great explanation.
Retd. Examiner A 320 family.
Request a similar video on
1.. Cabin/ckpt smoke.
2...Fuel leak.
Thanks.
Hello Tony! Great point! Thanks for your pointers. We'll see how we can incorporate your request into future videos.
Thanks for educating flight simmers and enthusiasts with great tutorials. All the best.
Thanks! 🙏🏽
Had been searching for this tutorial today itself, and here it is!
Thanks! 🙏🏽 Hope it met what you were looking for! 😁🤙🏽✌🏽
@@waypointsaviation yes it did! Love your videos, everything is so easily explained. Very helpful, thankyou😃😃
❤😊❤0⁰❤
Great vid. I have not seen this performed on YT before, thanks!
Thanks Bob! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏽🤙🏽✈️
Thanks captain 👩✈️
for this very specific demonstration let’s hope we never have to perform this in real time
for sure I’ll try this out in my sim
Cheers 👍
You’re very welcome Steve! Thanks for being part of the channel
I think you pressed the RAT at 26:58. By the way thank you for very good sim lesson.
You are Eagle eyed indeed! Yeah I did, my bad... 🤦🏽♂️🙏🏽
Very good video on CPC 1+2 fault. During the rapid decompression you forgot to read your FMA
Thanks
another awesome tutorial that is super practical and easy to digest at the same time… really appreciate your dedications in producing such valuable video.. Keep it going sir, and salute to you!!,
Thank you very much! 🙏🏽
the RAT deployed when u accidently Manually deployed it, but ya another example of simulated stress emergency moment, still awesome to watch… salute…
@kelvinhenry-4218 eagle eyed! yeah caught me there, in the spur of the moment handling the decompression and stuff hit the wrong button… realized it when I was editing. Although having the rat can’t hurt… 😁✌🏽
One for the algorithm. Love these failure scenarios. Congratulations on passing 20k subscribers. Never seen an MSFS2020 channel grow so quickly. 😮
Up here, Mother Nature doesn't wanna play ball
😁✌🏽
Please sir make a video about fuel leak and fuel imbalance
Sure, we'll see how we can do this in a future video
Thank you so much sir.
Most welcome! Thanks for taking the time to comment! 😁
Is it normal for CAB ALT and VS to drop to orange when I change the flight route (such as changing STAR, etc.) in mcdu during the flight? *FENIX A320
Hello,
Actually its not, changing to orange is an indication that something is wrong. Should be green always.
Hope this helps answer your question
I didn’t understand how to use the VS manual control switch?
Pull the VS nob and then dial to the left till you see negative numbers (-100 and so on) to descend and turn to the right (+100) to climb
Your blood won't boil at 25000 ft. I've never heard of pressure suits on Mount Everest.
I'm here to see how Airbus address this thing. Apparently Boeing blow a door to help with this.
Boeing is nice but their Quality control in recent years and issues with their A/C have left a lot of alarming questions and incidents! Airbus make better A/C! 😎
thank y so much! You explained it in detail very well. Excellent demonstration
Thank you so much! Glad it was helpful!
