How to make a square thread on a parallel lathe
It consists of building a rectangular profile fillet with a procedure similar to threads

The greater the inclination of the thread, the greater the inclination must have the lateral planes of the blades. The inclination angle alpha 1 is taken from 2 to 3 °, greater than the elevation angle of the spiral line. The angle of incidence alpha 2 is approximately equal to 3 °
regardless of elevation angle.
