@brendandennison3477 and @shkibby1 informed me that the Fisher fine refill is more reliable than the medium. I have a Fisher fine refill with green ink, though I quit using it, because the green ink was too light for my liking. I tested the medium and fine refill and the fine writes better than the medium. Thank you to @brendandennison3477 and @shkibby1 for bringing this to my attention. Their comments are down below.

Cool collection. I have found the Fisher inserts on the most part pretty good and have used them for about 15 years in all the pens I own, but I do occasionally get a Fisher refill that skips or doesn’t write as well(which gets replaced immediately). The fine point versions seem to have more reliability.
That makes sense. The one I have could be a bad insert, because sometimes the tip gets really inky and I have to clean it off. I have a green fine insert, but I stopped using it because the ink was too light for my liking. Tested the fine against the medium and the fine writes better. Great set and of edc pens. I use several of the S Gel pens in my tool bags and out in the garage. I’m also a big zebra F-701 fan and there mechanical pencil ✏️ is a great one also. The Fishers are also great 👍 wonderful video thank you

Good stuff! I'm sorry you have issues with the Fisher insert - I switched to their Fine and a lot of the skipping issues went away. I still need to pick up a Kaweco

I really like my Fisher bullets but they make that Zebra 301 in a compact that gets carried just as much and 1/8 the price.
