Skipper walking across the cage and doing that hurricanrana off the top of it is still the single most unforgettable moment in company history and also still one of the best matches they've ever had even now not even just for that moment.
wow ... that is nice!!! definitely Legendary Epicness for sure!!! cage wrestling at its best, premier tag teams, excellent spots, wonderful story, next-level talent, out of this world athleticism ... whew ~
If' it's not the best, it is near the front of a very short list. Those X-divsion Matches with Samao Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels are not far behind this match.
During the early stages of the partnership between NWA as well as TNA, this rivalry DEFINED the tag team division. Furthermore, "Primetime" Elix Skipper's walk off of the top of the cage is absolutely unforgettable!
@@danielpuders7394 : Back then, NWA and TNA had a "working relationship." Ken Shamrock, Ron "The Truth" Killings, Raven, Jeff Jarrett as well as the "Phonemenal" AJ Styles were among the NWA World Heavy Champions. After their affiliation ended, Kurt Angle became the inaugural TNA World Championship. I've been watching TNA since their Fox Sports debut in 2004 and you should do your research.
The first ever TNA show I watched. I was sold with the preshow as the card was pretty stacked (Scott Hall, Randy Savage, Raven and DDP are what grabbed me). This match by far sold the show on a show that also had one of my favourite X-title matches ever. A must watch for any wrestling fan.
The Greatest Tag Team Steel Cage Match ever and what made it better were no Tag Team Titles on the line, Just 2 Tag Teams trying to prove to the other that they are the better team.
I never hear anyone talk about. Watch the end of skipper's walk across the cage. He looks to be leaning to fall off before he is able to hit it. He was losing his balance a bit. Watching back even now you can tell.
@@Between2Riverz I could believe it. That went to war with each other for at the point more then 15 minutes. Just makes the moment more amazing knowing that
Has anyone interviewed Elix Skipper about his famous move? What was he thinking? If he botched it, his wrestling career would've likely ended. Also shocked to learn Skipper's in his 50s now. Was this that long ago???
What an insane match! from Elix's iconic cage walk to AMW getting revenge, this match is truly one of the greatest matches in Impact history! wait scratch that, in WRESTLING history!
I remember starting to watch TNA around this time, I missed the ppv but once I heard about the Elix Skipper spot I made sure to tune into TNA to not miss anything.
Tag team steel cage matches should've exploded after this match but it didn't and tbh I'm glad because if you're not trying to have a match and moments this great then don't try
This. Was. A. War. In a literal sense. You had both teams pulling out all the stops to get the victory. Then of course the moment everyone remembers is the Elix Skipper cage walk hurricanrana onto Chris Harris from the top of the cage. Name another spot in any other cage match that's happened before or since that's topped this one. Go ahead, I'll wait.
Without a doubt this match promoted the Tag team Division. Obviously Triple X was going to split up to start Christopher daniels solo push. Tremendous match and I'm glad that TNA put it as the Main event because they really deserved it.

This was nominated as Match of the Year in 2004, but was definitely what helped put TNA on the Map the following year.
And to fans one of the best matches of all time
This is the ONLY MATCH that the arena fans have chanted, "Best Match Ever!" No other company & no other match has ever had that.
wow ... that is nice!!! definitely Legendary Epicness for sure!!! cage wrestling at its best, premier tag teams, excellent spots, wonderful story, next-level talent, out of this world athleticism ... whew ~
19:46 One of the best moments in TNA history
💪One of the best moments in pro wrestling!
18:50, Actually With An Extra Elbow Drop On Top, A Side Order Of The Tower Of Doom & Last Call With Triple X’s Own Move By AMW.
This considered by many, to be the greatest match in the history of Impact Wrestling!
The real TNA🥲🥲
FR!

There's always two matches associated with TNA the most. The Unbreakable triple threat. And this match.
U forgot the triple threat Ultimate X with aj Petey and sabin
Instant classic! Elix Skipper walk around the top of the cage is all time TNA best moment
One of the best tag matches I’ve ever seen! Reliving it gave me goosebumps!
During the early stages of the partnership between NWA as well as TNA, this rivalry DEFINED the tag team division.

.... What LOLNWA has anything to do with this?

@@Andrew-Antioch-Kim That gave TNA nothing but belts. You should know better than call NWA a 'promotion' in 2004. It was a complete joke.

The best & biggest blood-spilling cage-brawling confrontational of 2004!
How did you get those emojis?

Elix skipper was totally underrated wrestler. His moves were so unique.
I never hear anyone talk about. Watch the end of skipper's walk across the cage. He looks to be leaning to fall off before he is able to hit it. He was losing his balance a bit. Watching back even now you can tell.
Was he suffering from a long-term medical condition...?
Christopher Daniels said it was because he was tired by that point in the match.. still give em props for pulling it off, history made.
@@Between2Riverz I could believe it. That went to war with each other for at the point more then 15 minutes. Just makes the moment more amazing knowing that
this match was a classic
tna really uploaded this, hopefully don west saw this one before his passing. the passion on his call right here.
Mike tenay and don west were the best commentary team 😭
Totally underrated! I thought Don west got too much hate. I always enjoyed his commentary. And Mike tenay is a legend in my opinion.
Has anyone interviewed Elix Skipper about his famous move? What was he thinking? If he botched it, his wrestling career would've likely ended.

Yes, and Skipper was a couple of weeks away from turning 37. He got a much later start in wrestling than most.
One of my favorite matches from TNA Turning point December 5, 2004 for over 20 years
this was the best time for this company...when this company had life and it was growing and growing...now its bleeding to death slowly
I would've hated to be the match that followed this classic.
Luckily for everyone else, this was the main event.
IMPACT! THIS WAS TNA TURNING POINT ON DECEMBER 5TH 2004! NOT Victory Road!
Wow what a moment from Elix still shocking in 2023
I love the start had them tagging in and out too hahaha
So beautiful nonstop action match ❤️
Absolutely, Moshin Malik!😄
@@DavidSamuelBl10 thanks for Ripley bro 🥰
TNA For Life 💪,... I Love TNA Six Side of Steell... From Malaysia.🇲🇾
Back then TÑA Wrestling was simply awesome 👍
That hurricanrana was sick
Mike Tenay might be one of the most underrated announcers of all time! He made that moment feel even more special. Even Don west did a great job
I’ve never noticed that at 19:39 the ref even prays for Primetime. Prime was different, definitely great during his era
내가 aj스타일스를 좋아하지만 내가생각하는 tna에서의 가장 명경기는 이경기라고 생각한다 10년이 훌적 넘었지만 요즘도 가끔 생각날정도니까
This is the one and only best match of impact wrestling.More power america's most wanted. The best ever.
That’s Was 18 Years Ago
I honestly thought Elix Skipper was gonna fall when was walking across the across the cage to do that. He's the only one crazy enough to do it
Ah the first TNA match I ever saw and the moment that hooked me for years 😊
One of the best matches in the history of TNA. Literally nonstop
What an insane match! from Elix's iconic cage walk to AMW getting revenge, this match is truly one of the greatest matches in Impact history! wait scratch that, in WRESTLING history!
Imagine this being a WM match! Would be considered a instant classic
It looks different and special than other promotions when TNA had 6 sides of ring.
I remember starting to watch TNA around this time, I missed the ppv but once I heard about the Elix Skipper spot I made sure to tune into TNA to not miss anything.
THE GREATEST match in wrestling history with THE GREATEST moment in wrestling history.
Tag team steel cage matches should've exploded after this match but it didn't and tbh I'm glad because if you're not trying to have a match and moments this great then don't try
0:52 future for "We are the best, SCU!"
Greatest cage match n history when i 1st saw this match. It has now been surpassed by Mox/Omega cage match
19:44 he can not wait no way 19:46 no no way you got to be kidding
This was at turning point not the victory road
21:19 no no way noooo!
One of the greatest matches of all time that put TNA on the map
Still one of the best matches I've ever seen!
I'm only here just for THAT moment

If ever there was a 5 star snub, this is it
The best tna match ever
the awkward moment when you realise AEW is more like TNA than impact is
19:47 that no way, that just tells h about how crazy that spot was
