Illumise and Ledian are sort of buffed by getting encore while very few others have it. Illumise is actually one of the best pokemon in the game with encore, moonlight, charm, wish, and seismic toss, beating pretty much any pokemon with earthquake, superpower, solar beam, and other resisted moves that it outspeeds. 85 speed with badge boost and good IVs/nature can outspeed base 100 speed pokemon, and a diverse team means you can bait those kinds of moves easily. It just doesn´t work that well with monotype.
As expected, nothing is impossible for my boi chizzy! I'd love to see fighting types next, I think it'd be pretty challenging with the overwhelming reliance on physical attacks :]
This channel definitely has the best monotype Kaizo runs, the planning that goes into it plus the actual thinking of the plays is so nice. A lot of the other guys can be really frustrating as you can tell they didn’t think their challenges through half as much as you have.
Bro Ledian with Encore saved my ass in Kaizo. You predict the ubiquitous Earthquake or a Fight/Grass attack (AI's predictable) then switch into Ledian to Encore them. Then just spam Air Slash or something or switch to another mon that takes care.

I had a Monotype Bug team in Gen VI named The Beatles. Yoko, the Scolipede lead John, the Mega-Heracross George, the Scizor Paul, the Galvantula Ringo, the Armaldo Ravi, the Volcarona Loved that you used the same reference!

@@Chizzy2k According to Mr. Ding Dong games, a professional Nuzlocker, apparently, Shift mode is a baby-ish, hold-handing playstyle. All of those years of me playing in shift mode really does make me look like a newb.
If ninjask was allowed would u have used sd and baton pass? (Probably wouldnt survive a hit) Also u sounded a bit disapointed when shedinja wasnt available So I ask what were you going to do with it?
No support moves are allowed in this game so it wouldn’t have been able to SD or baton pass. And Shedinja walls the biggest threats like swift swim dewgong, metagross, etc. with Wonder Guard 😊
Now nobody can convince me Bugs are bad... I have won... Believe it or not Bug is the only type that has so sheer power and can outplay any monotype ever

He said you can get them with a low probability chance from wild sneasel i beleive. Though he might have gotten them using the battle frontier since the time grinding throught them is not important here as long as it is possible
Don’t worry that’s a totally valid question. I explained it in a different vid but forgot to this one. With compoundeyes you can find quick claw on 20% of sneasels, I found 6 within 20 minutes with speed up lol
He already beat the E4 on that save file so he had access to Ninjask since it's postgame only (to avoid players having access to Shedinja). Chizzy is playing this like he's facing the E4 for the very first time
It's Kaizo after all, Pokemon that are good normally are average on Kaizo with the exception of buffed ones, Pseudo legends, OU mons and legendaries but even OU mons aren't that great alone.

I'm surprised, of all the pokemon buffed in Emerald Kaizo, none of the bugs really are buffed.
Also that Scizor with max defense IV's though.
