Well, I think you have to give Peters the benefit of the doubt. He's from the Tony Dungy School of thought in that you look for the best players, not the best testing players. And, Daniels came from the same school that produced Joe Burrow. They need to get him a left tackle in the worst way though.
He just won the Heisman, JD was a leader in both categories. He had 40tds and 4 ints and that's just passing...

JD was the right pick, by a large margin. By far the highest floor available. Will keep drives alive with his legs and give his players more scoring opportunities. Literally everybody says he plays unselfishly, and he's corroborated that in his recent pressers. 10/10 pick. Excited to see plays with him and BRob/Terry. Ekeler is going to help open up the screen game w/ Brob also. Ertz should also have a solid season, Sanders or All will likely need a year.
LETS GOOO. I’ve said it many times I liked maye but I’ve always been very happy with daniels and I have full trust in Adam peters. This teams future can’t be any brighter.

@@kingslim202 uhhhh Maye was consensus #2 until a few months ago what are you talking about? He and Daniels were more likely than JJ. that’s why they went 2 and 3 and JJ went 10 as the 5th qb taken
@@sbp69 Not in our camp of scouts/circles. Maye was eliminated. Everybody saw Howell struggle with footwork despite more experience, maybe he can get away with that in qb statue-ville New England but WAS has a different brand of offense where JD is the clear winner pick. JJ actually won despite being carried by Harbaugh, Maye couldn't elevate a single receiver to the NFL, so there's a lot of aspects. New England doesn't like receivers so that fits them. Nobody had a proper answer for Maye's need to improve other than sitting a year and then that became the narrative. JD will hit the ground running, however. Kingsbury's offense will get the most out of him - he's a lot better passer than Kyler Murray ever could dream of.

Jayden has always been the front runner and Is just come to light that JJ was the other one they liked not Maye. We just had that guy in Sam Howell they knew that that’s why they traded him and didn’t prolly give too much thought to Maye again bcuz Jayden is obviously better than him.

disappointed to say the least. We got another RG3 who might have 1 good year. Picked short term success instead of long term QB. Running QBs always stay injured. I dont know of any running QBs that play a full year without getting injured. I dont know of any running QBs that have been successful or had a long career. RG3 had 1 good year. He never played a full year on any team he played for. Lamar jackson doesnt play a full season either.

Drake Maye is a NFL career back up. He was the second best QB in his conference the ACC. I don’t care what his size he is. Hes not our QB. JD is better than DM in every aspect of the position and the numbers are better also. You just don’t want a black QB. Just say it it’s cool.
