Thinking I may join patreon soon. Om japa and other techniques you've taught have really helped forrest. I did the gateway process and still do it sometimes but kryia and the teachings here have saved my sanity and made my life blissful.
Great video and excellent explanation. We do have a crystal Sri meru in our pooja room. I never imagined the concept of using this Sri meru in mediation. Thank you.🙏🙏🙏👍
The Yantra Book is a great resource. The tips of the inner triangles describe a 3D sphere, where each point is touching the edge of a sphere. The black dot in the center is the point of implosion, it is the central point of contraction which is in equilibrium to the expansive outer edges.
Forrest has definitely nailed this yoga to the floor. Perfect metaphor! Id love to get one if the glow ones .. super cool to have that thing just visible through the night.
Wow! I felt a transmission as you spoke about these concepts. Amazing! It reminds me of the Shipibo plant medicine tradition too! Thank you for sharing! I love your channel! Pun intended😃
Wow, Forrest! What a cool device you guys have put together in 3D. I've heard about Sri Yantra as a three dimensional object we can visit and walk through from Kilindi Lyi, a teacher Tamerrian Martial Art Institute, who used to do 40 gram magic mushroom sessions. From them on, I have used them as meditation devices. For sure, I'll get one from your friends. Blessings and blissings! Let's keep the stew brewing!
Hello, dear Forrest! Thank you for your videos which help me on my spiritual path. I would like to ask you a question. During meditation, my abdominal muscles involuntarily contract and, as a result, my diaphragm rises (Uddiyana bandha). Should I continue to meditate with bandha? 🤔❤️🙏🏻
Yes, just relax and allow it to "be" in your meditation. It may continue, or it may come and go. If it feels like it's too much, then talk to your subconscious every night before sleep and ask it to, "go ahead and relax that stomach lock. That's it. Go ahead and let that relax." 🙏🙏
@@ForrestKnutson Thank you very much, Forrest. I thought that my abdominal muscles help the spine muscles to keep my spine straight and I can meditate during a long period of time…🙏🏻❤️
Honestly Forrest it sounds like this would be a great technique for integrating knowledge, for when a belief has maybe changed, or even identifying emotions to release.... Because one thing I found through my spiritual awakening, is that I can intellectually know something extremely well. Yet, it's very obvious by some of the actions and consequences that I must not believe it in my core. In the whole integration process, not sure I do it correctly for that. Well, is a bit counterintuitive and weird. But I basically do the same thing that I have been doing to get the trauma out of my body from PTSD. And that's to buy in the feeling identify it, find the center of it and keep feeling into the center into the center of that center And so on and so on. And then just letting it pass on through the physical body. Correct me if I'm wrong but for me that's really been the same process as integrating you out into my subconscious..
Not sure if I u understand. Are you first thinking of a past trauma and then visualizing the release of the emotion/trauma or is there a physical release occurring after you let go of it? Are you intellectually releasing (with the mind)? I've not yet come across others releasing their traumas (outside of plantmedicine purging), so I can only compare it to mine and was wondering if it is the same way.
@@sandtx4913 The way it's been working for me is it's a emotion that is a physical feeling. Generally, it will be a very tense, tightness or muscle knot, sometimes it's just directly in the nervous system kind of masquerading as a muscle knot, but it's not. Pun not intended lol. But for me I identify this area, and I just simply ask myself what emotion is this. Is normally going to be your intuition. You do have to be careful though if you're like me. Your ego likes to try to jump in there and act like you're intuition sometimes. But you can tell. Once I identify the emotion I just say I let this emotion go and that doesn't always release it. But that's what I do in attempt to release it. When there's a release, yes I physically feel it. Normally I would describe it as how you would feel if you had a major muscle cramp release. It's not exactly like that but pretty close. As in some of these areas you really don't have a muscle to be cramped. Like I said, sometimes it's directly in my nervous system. It took me several years to catch on to that as it really felt like muscle cramping. To put some context with that, I have had issues with muscle cramping my entire life. So that's why my mind was kind of geared towards that. But one day I was looking through our of Alex Gray and his anatomically correct paintings. And I noticed that my pain and what I thought was muscle cramping was the right side of my entire nervous system basically. I had just recently sustained two injuries to my nervous system. And I have PTSD, so there's no shortage of these releases for me at the moment. I have a lot of trauma coming out. When one traumatic thing started to coming out. It really just pulled the rest of it up. So I've been letting all of that work its way out. At first I was forcing things, that's the wrong move. That will make things worse. You need to let it do its own thing and just observe and taken any lessons you can find. I have a lot of experience with plant medicine and just psychedelics in general. For me, the releasing of the trauma when it's been intense, has been a lot like you feel the day after a very strong acid trip. How you feel a certain amount of release and purge that happened and you can even tell that your logic is working on a different path. What's going on is your nervous system is rearranging to put it in simple terms I guess. Cuz honestly I don't have the right terms. So really I am purging over the past few years. I also do breath work, I take ice baths, and I meditate twice a day. And because of the trauma kind of drop kicking me out of nowhere, because I had my NDE incident and really nothing came about from it until about a year later when I had another incident and then everything flooded up. Like when Forest talks about the role of consciousness in your spine, look for that literal feeling. How it feels for me is instead of saying consciousness, you're feeling a physical release of comfort and relaxation roll up through your body. Even outside of your body. My focus outside of my body it often works better for me, and what I'm focusing on is all of my chakras. Not just the seven but all of them. Now I can't actually focus on all of them at the same time nor have I found all of them. But I'm focusing on about upwards of 20 to 30. Because these are the ones I've found. And many of them I found on the outside of the body. In the feeling you're looking for is if you've ever been to a needling appointment or acupuncture. When they stick that needle into the muscle knot, it releases very much in the same way. In fact, I think it is the same way. So you're really just looking for a feeling of physical comfort, but there's the mental aspect too. But I think what you're asking me is more geared along the physical proof, forest would call it, that kind of lets you know what's going on. Because mentally because of dealing with all the trauma I'm dealing with, it's not always been blissful at all. There's been many times that is actually been very intense and heavy. And most my blissful moments and any chakra has been pretty short-lived. But that's my problem because I try to grasp on to it instead of surrender and let it do its thing. The moment I know that I'm on that higher level with it. I get excited still unfortunately.. doing way better than I used to though because I used the tense really hard because I tried focusing. And unfortunately when we focus we normally tense some part of our body. And meditation is focal management exercises. Even if you're managing to not focus at all. So the best term I've come up with what meditation actually is is focal management exercises. I think one feeling I could equate it to that. Everybody could give a try. Would be to wet your tongue with some saliva and stick it directly out of your mouth and wrap your lips around it and put all your focus on the air and how it feels on your tongue. And feel how it kind of gives you the illusion of your tongue not being there on the inside but only there on the outside shell. For me, that's very alike to what I feel on releasing these areas of trauma physically as well as opening my chakras or the door to the chakra. I hope that helps you. Sorry if this is not edited Well I have a horrible dictation program and I'm working at the moment. Hope it all made sense. Have any questions feel free to ask. 😎 But understand that I am a student, but I think I'll probably always be a student even if I was teaching so. But I do have a lot of unique experiences through some pretty heavy stuff, as well as 16 years of opiate addiction that I've had to work through. And considering what's going on in America, there's a lot of people in a similar situation that I was in, and my experience allows me to uniquely help those people more than anybody probably. It all really depends on whether they're ready to permit themselves to listen and grant themselves permission to surrender. I probably only ever tell anybody what they already knew
@@sandtx4913 to shorten all that up. Here's kind of a protocol. Get into your meditation and go ahead and balance your chakras or do a body get into a good, deep, comfortable state. Then scan your body and when you scan your body if it doesn't gross you out, think of everything you're nervous. System your bones, your vascular system, each fiber of your muscle. And start scanning your body. Once you identify an area that you physically feel tight, or you go over an area that you get a very strong, heavy, bad feeling mentally. When you get to that area and have identified it, ask yourself what emotion is this, try to identify what it's from. I often can't identify what it's actually from but that's because it's not one thing that caused it. Do that, if you need to forgive yourself, tell yourself you forgive yourself. If you need to say these things out loud say them out loud. And say that I release this emotion. And if you have identified the cause. Go ahead and note down all perspectives of that cause. Find a positive perspective and if it holds true to you, hold on to that positive perspective. And that will end up being your lesson that you're going to integrate. Once you do that and feel the mental comfort, that will only be accompanied by ahhhh feeling. Or, you find some pain that's really tight like a muscle cramp and you get it to expand and release. If you're having trouble doing that. Try this Visualize a tiny ball of golden radiant light. And breathe directly into the pain and try to keep finding the center of the pain. And with each inhale visualize this light growing stronger and brighter. On the exhale. Make sure to try to hold the light there. And it's okay if you can't actually see this in your head. It doesn't matter. If you're still having trouble, try this trick. When I'm having really hard trouble getting deep into a part of my body because I've never been there, kind of similar to trying to move your little toe on your foot if you've never moved it. Your mind can't find it. If you have that problem, go right through and past it. And sometimes I'll even imagine doing it rapidly with a million tiny little balls of light and instead of finding the center I'll just go all over all around it. Another trick is you could even try tensing that muscle or not or area that you feel this tightness in. Rapidly tense it and release, only ever so slightly. If somebody was looking at you, they wouldn't know that you even tense that area, only you would know. All of this is kind of like blowing on a feather to push it along the wind. You don't want to force anything. Yeah give those tricks a try, the ball light thing for me works extremely well. Saying the things out loud works extremely well.. Love to hear back from you to let me know how this all works for you. Hope it helps
