Im a wash bay tech. And my super milks the clock and we seem to have to, but he just needs to deep clean inside and out is a week and a half to long. I don't think so. What do you think. Love your videos i get in a job i study it. My wife drives for same company.
Hi Kimberly no I do not pre program the routes. I usually do the planning the day before and use the GPS as a tool to help me along. I never rely on the GPS to get to my destination.
I always wanted to drive an motorcoach. Any advice on how l can get on this path. I know l will have to wait a couple of years because I'm 18. But how do l become a motorcoach operator
Hey Thomas Walker. Its definitely a fun job to have. You will be away from home a lot so if you are serious about being a motor coach operator make sure you don't have anything tieing you back at home. Some bus companies have insurance that will require you to be 25 to drive and some have insurance that limits at 21. I started at a company that allowed 21 year olds to drive. But that is not the case at the current company i work for. Remember that driving require a lot more than being able to handle a large vehicle on the roads. You must be able to take care of your passengers. Customer service and respect will go a long way to making a good day as well as communication skills. You will find that your tips come in a lot higher and people are a lot happier. Thomas I hope you follow your dream. It is very reachable as long as this whole pandemic goes away. Right now the Motor Coach industry is in shambles and a lot of drivers are being laid off. I hope this helps my friend. Keep in touch and best wishes to you!
@@thomaswalker2067 What James said...plus, if you want to be more local and have a somewhat more predictable schedule you can always do commuter coach operator. You have routes, and stuff like that, and some companies still do charter work although its mostly day trips, so you come home. There are down sides to being on the commuter lines, and thats the passengers. Theyre not as friendly or happy as those on a charter. Theyre going to work, or coming from work, some of the nasty ones have understanding stories (ie just got fired), and the driving is more stressful since you deal with rush hour traffic a lot, but it has its bragging rights (parallel parking a coach in the terminals, with virtually no room to spare, so you get creative lol)
@@thomaswalker2067 Feel free to ask me or James. He's good people, and knows his stuff. He can tell you a LOT more about the charter side of things. I used to drive commuter routes (and some more urban routes for my county), and I liked the commuter routes a lot. Different route each day (although you can bid for a line run and have a schedule, but I liked being extraman, and having a different piece of work each day, kept it interesting for me). Also it depends on the area. Im around NYC, so lots of commuter work, as I imagine there is around Chicago or other big cities.
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get your start at 21? Most companies want you to be at least 25 with experience, so it’s difficult to find a place to get started! Great videos by the way!
Hi Christian! I started with a bus company called Beck Bus in Carbondale IL. I started out driving the City transit buses but they also had motor coaches. Every once in a while they would run short on Coach drivers they would ask me to drive a trip and take me off the routes. Between juggling my class schedule and my social life, I made it work. Fell in love with it ever since.
Crazy COOL!!
Enjoy the vlogs
oh hair
Ha, ha, ha! It's O'Hare!

Sorry we push daily shuttles out 15 of them. Local Thomas for hospital. Then 3 to 4 coach.
Hi James! When you use your GPS, do you pre- program all your destinations in advance or as you go?
Hi Kimberly no I do not pre program the routes. I usually do the planning the day before and use the GPS as a tool to help me along. I never rely on the GPS to get to my destination.
Hey James was all those stops pre-planned or they just go on the fly?
