That's right BBC has so much more budget to film and produce good videos. But either way there are too many Top Gear fanboys here putting unnecessary hate comments, not just 5th Gear but Skymotoring as well. Those children just need to grow up, it's just a show. Let's not forget this is only a webTV for the lastest info that they couldn't fit into th ep, of course they do also test sexy cars on the actual programme. obivously thats ideal but its all about setup where there is lag or not. a 100-110bhp 1.4 stick a small turbo on then you have 130. simple and virtually no lag. or you could s/c it and 0 lag

Oh and still, EK9 is one class higher than clio, same as the nissan you mentioned. And this clio is not even a sport version, its a normal version with 1.6 engine. Clio sport with 197hp is faster than Civic Type R (even the new one) on straight and especially in the corners. Nobody builds small sport cars as well as renault does.
top gear and fifth gear are both good for diffrent reasons but i do prefer topgear cause they test most of the supercars on a closed track but fifth gear tell you what you want to know and road test the cars but every 1 has there own opinion tho

Top gear is on it was back with a new series on sunday night. And even though Viki is a fit looking presenter. I have to go with top gear they just do it all a bit better a lot funnier and are more down to earth and not so fake and false as they are on here

GT is stupid. Noisy @ over 4,000 RPM's? What about fuel consumption and emission levels? no mention of that. In this day and age there is no excuse for not fitting a turbo. Renault really should take a look at VW (who are taking it further with both super and turbo chargers).

Hope you have had your answer in these 13 years but I just got out of one on a 2hr drive and 60mph(100kmh) is 3k rpm

My Clio 1.4 did 56 mpg over 800 kms, last time I did a long journey, so Renault seem to be going downhill on the economy side of things.
