The husbands are metaphorical, they represent the 7 deadly sins in human life. In order to free your soul and find eternal bliss, you need to end the 7 deadly sins from your heart: pride, gluttony, wrath, envy, lust, greed, and sloth.
Her performance in this movie still gives me the chills what a phenomenal performance

"7 Khoon Maaf" = a very deep meaning movie. Though in this fictional story it seems that a woman kills her 6 husbands and then embraces God in the end. But the meaning is deeper. It shows the meaning of life here. However wonderful relations we make with each other, but they are actually meaningless. The real relationship is with the Almighty God only which is everlasting and the only one which can satisfy us and give peace.
Her 6 husband's deserved it non of them treated her good and it shows after all true love is only with your maker the almighty

That's why Priyanka joined Hollywood! No appreciation for art here, no appreciation for acting (only doll-like models, bold dresses and item dances) Nepotism and glorifying of Khans. They are grandfather's age yet they are still into typical Romantic action films (against 20 year old actresses) and people watch them still!

This movie is a groundbreaking for Priyanka or maybe even for The Indian Cinema as a general because this was a mixed of dark, psychological a little bit comedy in it... im sad that it became underrated to this day... i mean just look at the views not even million to this masterpiece song
Why is there so much confusion on what was her 7th Sin? Her 7th Sin is symbolically what we call in Christianity, the "eternal" sin which is basically when a person refuses to repent for all the sins committed. In the end, she stated that she wanted to repent though she may actually not confess murdering people (because of jail time).
Apart from this, she said that "we will drink (her seventh husband's) blood". She is referring to Jesus and the Holy Communion. But why did she do this? In a way, she is killing another husband by drinking his blood and continues to be filled with pride in her various murders. This pride can be her 7th Sin.

her first husband (Neil) was impotent, he also took her stable boy's eye but even then he did not deserve to die. she could have easily took revenge by taking his husband's eye and then could have divorced him by proving that he was impotent. there was never any need to feed him to the man eating panther. she did that just to be free of him easily & fast.
her second husband (John) was drug addict & it was not a hidden secret, she could have easily divorced him by proving that he is drug addict. buy this time she also was in a hurry to get free of her husband very fast.
and then this killing became one of her habits. she fell in love instantly with her 3rd husband (Irfan) & after getting beaten up by him she was devastated, she became so sad, but again this killing spree became heavy on her & like she fell in love instantly she killed him in snow grave instantly.
then came russian spy (4rth husband) he already had a family abroad. this disturbed her & again she was ready to kill him. bcoz upto that moment killing had become very easy for her.
her 5th husband (anu kapoor) was neither her love nor she married him with all her heart. she was just not willing to go to jail thus she compromised her body with him to get rid of all murders she has committed. she just finished him up like someone washes his hands with a tissue paper.
her 6th husband (Naseeruddin) was only after her wealth. by marrying her & then killing her he only wanted to acquire her wealth easily coz he was himself bankrupt. he also tried to poison her but her butler died by eating poisoned food instead. so she decided to kill him.
so we can say that only dangerous was her 6th husband (Naseer) who tried to kill her. all others were just violent, cheaters, addicts, frauds, they did not deserve killing they deserved divorce.
but this is just a film, so just chill & enjoy the chills & thrills that Priyanka's performance gives us in this film. appreciate her beauty, acting, soothing music of film songs.
