Congrats on winning the run! Impressive you got to the end while ignoring the dice sets main gimmick (which is rerolling without locking ANY dice to gamble for those sweet sweet bonuses). Though with this set specifically its gimmick is kinda ultra high risk for a not necessarily big reward so it works out okay. Honestly what surprised me more than the locking of dice is the fact you still had standard dice in your box by the first boss! In my opinion you wanna fill it up and ditch all the blank dice that do nothing for powering up your game even slightly. Purchasing those dice packs early on are a good thing to help pick up the pace and storm through the earlier levels for more reward cash. Though thats just the ramblings of a random guy on the internet so feel free to ignore that. Overall though, congrats on beating the Big Guy set!
Thank you so much for this well-thought out comment. I find that holding onto Standard dice are good for saving resonances you don't have the right die for yet (specifically ones that apply to dice that summon cards). I will try out your method, though, and see if it helps me get further on the base game, which I have only beaten once.
