I enjoyed watching your video while roll hunting and sorting quarters. I am slowly learning about errors on quarters so I appreciate you sharing your years of knowledge with us in your videos. Thank you!
Vato!!!! I like the videos that are 20 or more minutes longer cause I play them as I hunt boxes. Plus I do enjoy all the info you provide no matter how redundant you think it may be. I always learn something. Thank you....
I LOVE! maybe about 1 a week, or every two weeks, a long video (over 30 minutes) as long as it shows searches for DDO's DDR's or other errors when they are explained. I know it is ALOT of work, but I have my son watching videos, due to his interest. You, Rob and probably 3 to 4 others do an amazing job of furthering the hobby and financial acumen of coin hunting. BTW my son loves yours, (a younger boy who I cannot remember) and Rob the most.
Thanks for the input. You have no idea how much it means to me to be compared to Rob. He’s the best int he community in my book. Make sure to check out tomorrows video. It’s a little longer and has some good stuff.
I just searched my first quarter rolls (customer wrapped) and found a silver 1963, a Tallgrass Prairie WestPoint quarter, and a silver proof New Mexico (saw the edge first)! What a rush!
Hunting quarters is a ton of fun but silver can be tough to come by. I found 4 in a box last year and then didn’t find any the rest of the year. Glad you had a great box.
The way you are doing it is great, My favorite UA-cam channel used to be , one roll at a Time, But he went from a similar format that you have to taking about two hours for a two box hunt, too long not for me 😂 Keep Stackin Bro
Nice Hunt Brother!! I went to 8 banks today trying to get nickels and halves but they were all either already searched or UNC. But I the last bank I managed to get 120 in halves and 60 in nickels. But I did get a 1967 half from one of the banks!!
I have spent hours driving to banks and come up short after 2-3 hours. It sucks, but it's part of the game. Hope you have some luck in the rolls you did find. Nice pull on the 1967.
@@GASilverHunter thanks!! I didn’t find anything in the halves and nothing too crazy in the nickels yet. I was out of town so me and my dad went to some banks we don’t normally go to.
I agree and I have found even my epic boxes that are long people either don’t watch or they skip through it. That said I have heard from a few that they prefer getting to see more of the roll openings and hunt itself. Need to figure out how to cater to both.
Too bad no v 75 this time ultimate key date quarters should have invested in them sooner. price keeps going up steadily. Especially for the mint-State 66 or higher. It's crazy. shoot for the moon.errors are so rare.
They carry a small premium on resale. Lately if they are in bad shape I do pitch a few back. Also if I have a penny box that is $1-2 light I will sometimes catch on the bicentennial quarters to finish off the penny box.
I learned through watching others, searching for errors/varieties on eBay, looking through PCGS price guide at pictures of varieties, and then VarietyVista.com.
No idea without going back and rewatching it... that video was filmed back in August of 2022. On a lot of my newer videos I do keep a "value tally" either as I go through the video or at the end.
@@GASilverHunter ok cool, I'll have to check the newer ones out, thank you I've just recently started pulling coins and what not from work but I'm worried getting a box would just be good for filling in collection spots not anything else. I also have little idea on what errors and dates to pull. But I'm learning fast
I have a document in the description of my videos that has a checklist of what you can look for. That doesn't mean its all super valuable. A lot of the common errors these days are worth $1-$5. W Quarters are $10-$40. CUDs can be $10-HUGE $$$. It really just depends on what you search and what you find. I also have a affiliate link to the Strike It Rich with Pocket Change book in my description which is an outstanding book. There is both paperback and digital versions of the book. Most quarter hunters are filling collections and really hoping to find those Ws and Silver Quarters.
@@GASilverHunter Ill have to get the books, but that's largely what I've been learning, a lot of the ones you should expect to find are only a handful of bucks but still a huge return on face value
That is true. The big big bucks are actually in the pennies. Most valuable error I found was a cracked planchet 2022P Wilma Mankiller Quarter... sold it for $275-$300... don't recall exact amount. I found a Penny probably worth $150-$180 depending on where it would grade out. I don't actually sell too many of my errors. I have sold some Ws for good profit.
Some coin roll hunters only show you the silvers and "W" quarters they find. BORING! Thanks for making it interesting by showing overweight rolls, women quarters, "S" business strikes and errors & varieties.
I appreciate the feedback. For quarters you have to do something a little different because Ws are getting scarce and silver is getting to be super rare. I haven't found silver or a W in my last 3-4 hunts. You are correct, those would have been super boring videos if I basically showed you opening the box and cutting to the end. :-)
I enjoy the balance of the sometimes/frequent slowdown recording and edge hunting. Thanks! Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for watching and glad I could help.
Love those s quarters!!! Congratulations
Thanks!!
Nice work!
Good Morning My Good Bro & Sis Georgia Silver Hunter
Hey there Timbo White!
I will watch no matter how you hunt. Just keep to videos coming.
Thanks Robert. Appreciate that!
Awesome Hunt
Thanks Penny Hunter.

I may try a box in the future where I release a short version and a long version. See how it plays out.
A 2018 S NIFC quarter.

So many low mintage S quarters. Great finds! I actually like this format best.
Thanks for the feedback.

Trying to find that happy medium. Tomorrow's video is a little longer... but for good reason. 😛

I say we start calling them "Cold Sore Georges". More apt description if you ask me. ;)
Hahaha... I made that joke on one of my quarter videos. Or something similar. I agree though.
I like just coming in for the finds. Every roll seems like the video would go long.

Hi, make sure that you check the Maya Anjelou's for the double earring DDR. I have found 5 of these so far!
Will do

Great hunt and finds. Do you sell any of the in God we rust quarters
I haven't but I could. Are you interested?
@@GASilverHunter Yeah, I want to add one to my collection
I’d like to learn more about the varieties. Where do I go about doing the research?
I learned through watching others, searching for errors/varieties on eBay, looking through PCGS price guide at pictures of varieties, and then VarietyVista.com.
What would you say the value of the finds would be? It looks like you got a good box but I'm also new to this still
