@@SanguineVA I was also getting a little bit of a Rothbart vibe from the king. That and I had just listened to a Swan princess asmr earlier lol.
I feel like this is going to cause additional complications down the road. The listener's kingdom and their betrothed and his kingdom, for starters. No epic wars have ever been started like this, right? 😅
But it is a great way to start a long series!

So, speaker basically kidnapped a princess from another kingdom and intends to seduce her into marrying him instead of another king. Did her parents and kingdom officials really pressure her into accepting the first proposal, or is that just his biased viewpoint (a difficulty in these roleplays is unless there is back and forth, we only get the speaker's POV). Did this king (speaker) make an offer of marriage that was rejected by her kingdom, so that pushed him into kidnapping her or did he bot get the chance? He must have spies in her kingdom for him to "know" how she was pushed to accept the neighboring king's proposal. I'm very curious to learn more. Right now princess listener isn't being allowed much choice in marriage.
