I'm really excited to learn Python. I felt a lot of Data Analyst positions weren't looking for R programming language. A lot were asking for Python. Now I'm truly excited to learn Python.

This program is amazing, it helped me in my last course in the last year.
In my opinion, the name of the program should Google Data Science program rather than Google Advanced Data Analytics.
Because, it focuses on Data Science, just like the IBM Data Science program.

Genial, terminé el Google DA certificate hace dos meses atrás, hace poco encontré trabajo, aunque no como data analyst o business analyst pero si en un area dónde si se utilizan cosas relacionadas con el análisis de datos, dónde tengo que analizar los datos de stock de inventario, avance de fabricación y entregar reportes de los proyectos que se pueden realizar a termino en los próximos días. En el área solo trabajaban con excel, pero yo estoy integrando visualizaciones y sql, ya he podido disminuir la obtención de conclusiones de 4 horas a 30-60 minutos máximo. Me gustaría saber cuándo estará disponible en español este curso avanzado?

I completed the google's data analytics certificate course on coursera. I can't say it held any value in my job search even though I also had training in a data science bootcamp. Do you think this course would help me land my next role?
Having the certificate listed on the resume alone will not help much. Instead, try to show what you learned from the program by create a portfolio comprised of several projects highlighting those skills, and be ready to present it to the recruiters. It also depends on the requirements of the jobs, do they just want the skills (entry level) or also industry knowledge, certain years of experience...(senior-management level)
It is a very good move and on perfect time. My question is about necessary Math for Data Science. Will Linear Algebra, Calculus be taught in this Google Advance Data Analytics program? And if not, what are the recommended courses to learn Algebra and Calculus?
Hi Aslam, I would recommend the course "Mathematics for Machine Learning and Data Science Specialization" from Deep Learning AI. It covers Linear Algebra, Calculus and Probability and Statistics for ML and DS. Of course you need to put some effort on your own. That's always the case :)

I am currently enrolled in the course. I am currently at the project part of second course: Get started with Python. The course is really amazing with great teachers. I am able to cope up even as a fresher. The only issue that I am facing currently is there are less people in the community maybe. I appreciate Google's classes, but I find it too much talking, I don't know if it's because I have ADHD, but it's impossible to stick to it for 5 minutes, should have more hands on and less talking/theory/scenarios...

The beginner level of the data analytics certicate should not teach R. It should teach the basics of Python.
Maybe(MAYBE) certificates work in the States, but in Europe they are worth nothing. Don't waste your time, go to university,
