I think the Niners are going to have great competition this year in the spring. It’s interesting that no one is talking about Brock that much. That dude is yoked. He is coming back with a big chip on his shoulder. With a few breaks and less mistakes he knows they should have won the Super Bowl. He will be know in the future as the Quiet assassin. Love your show. 🏈🏈🏈 He is already ahead of Joe and Steve at his age. Put the right people around him and he will hurt you. 🏈🏈🏈
According to Krueg he ran the 40 on a rainy soggy field so he probably lost 1 or 2 tenths of a second on his time. That is probably why he wasn’t drafted but he could be a potential diamond in the rough. Speed certainly helps but sometimes guys make much better football players than their athletic tangibles would initially tell you. The guy is a multi sport athlete, can leap and dunk a basketball (or catch a ball), good hands, and he’s big and very tall (nearly 6ft8). He also has a degree in engineering and is book learned and smart (so you know hitting the books won’t be a problem for him the way some other NFL athletes have a problem with it). In other words he’s a very good pick up for someone who is undrafted with legitimate potential upside. Worst comes to worst the 49ers simply cut him. He’s low risk high reward.
@@lmrtz8332 Yep. Jerry Rice the GOAT wasn’t that fast either. Puka is a heck of a football player and he’s slow for a receiver according to his 40 time. Some people have speed while others have “football speed”. Jerry Rice could break free and outrun some of the fastest secondary players in the game despite a supposedly slow 40 time. Some people just have a great instinct for football regardless of what the combine statistics tell you.
Yes this Pline kid is our new # 2 TE going to be the envy of the league. The rest of the league will become frustrated that we keep getting these getting these diamonds late and later in draft.
He’s a little too high. Can be moved taller players get underneath with leverage. Can knock off platform. Hope he successs and can be a red zone threat.
Mason Pline is gonna be mighty fine as a 49er!
Him being 6'7 an a willing blocker easily makes him 1 of the most interesting UDFA
Nothing finer than Larry geeking out on the Niners! Good stuff 👊
Nice job Larry. I hope this is the diamond in the rough. Go '88 Cats!

Krueg
Bill Walsh noted in the 1990's noted that all the best tight ends were playing Power Forward on Basketball teams.
didn't see much tackle breaking/yac on film, hope he could develop that skillset more
I live near there. He is very talented
Review these players film with that would be fun!
Red zone beast!
He is SLOOOWWWWWW. Ran the 40 in 4.81.

Puka had the worst combine over all look at him now

The 49ers need to call the Raiders about trading for Michael Mayer.
I have a good feeling about Pline. I think he can be an asset.
Mason plays like a beast
He’s not a Kittle blocker, but who is? Pline is a try hard blocker and a terrific receiving TE.
I see, not a good blocker. If that's the case it'll be tough to make this team
Sound like Dwight Clark

Cohen said it was a horrible signing. Plays like Harold Carmichael.
Hey Larry, how does this guy go undrafted? There's gotta be a reason
He runs a 4.81 you would think Larry would tell you that
@@stevens5236 He's a jump ball end zone catcher. Speed won't matter; he'll get open.
@@stevens5236 He did
He's gotta learn to block though
