Welcome to The Breaker’s Ship!
The Breaker’s Ship is an event conceptualised and created by BBoy Confusion (143 Liverpool Street & Technical Difficulty) in collaboration with DSDA Inc. Taking from his MC name ‘Friendship Friendship’, the event name takes the ship from Friendship and links together Breaking to create “The Breaker’s Ship”.
This community event series aims to create a space for the wider dance community to develop and build connections with Breakers and Breaking culture (and vice versa) in a friendly, fun environment, as well as establishing a safe space for Breakers and dancers in general.
To facilitate this, the category for The Breaker’s Ship 2023 will be a 2 vs 2 battle made up of one breaker and one open style dancer.

EVENT DETAILS
Date: Saturday 22nd July 2023
Time: 12:30 PM Rego, 1:30 PM Prelims - 5:30 PM Finish
Location: East Sydney Community and Arts Centre, Darlinghurst (34/40 Burton St, Darlinghurst)
Format:
2 vs 2, Each team requires ONE Breaker and ONE Open Style dancer.
This means that the Breaker is expected to do Breaking, and the Open Style dancer is to dance a style other than Breaking on the day.
