Umberto de mattia You are welcome. May I ask how many times do you fire? Is this your first or second? I'm just learning to create pottery and will be using a fire kiln as well. Also how do you keep your shelves from burning. I really appreciate any advice that you could offer. Thanks so much!
TheMom2three hello, I'm about 10 years working ceramics, I produce only when I request, unfortunately in Italy this activity is not expanding rather the opposite, I use electric kiln with propane and wood. in the olive wood burner kiln we have an olive grove and when we prune the trees we conserve the branches. Our kiln is small built in reverberation of flame is well insulated so the consumption of wood is quite reduced, I hope I have answered the questions, as you understood I am Italian and translate, where do you write from? I am always available for advice write when you want! greetings Umberto.
Umberto de mattia Thank you so much. I am from Mississippi in the southern part of the USA. It's hard to believe that there aren't lots of requests for pottery there. It's a great market for it here. I've been reading and watching everything I can on the best way to fire the kiln. Some say it's best to bisque before the glaze and then fire again. Others say to glaze when bone dry and then fire once. I just want to create beautiful slab pottery the correct way. Again, I thank you for your help.
Wonderful load and a great wee kiln.
Thanks for sharing!
What kind of Glaze is that Please?
Can you send me the blueprints for this stove?

Sir I came across this video
Do you think I can make something like yours with this type of kiln
ua-cam.com/video/pHYCbHBw7zs/v-deo.html
you can do what you want just want it ....
Bricks are ordinary one, or some special one (fire resistant).
they are refractory, there are two rows and between the two rows, a highly insulating "ceramic fiber"
Very very nice 👍
TOP! 🇧🇷
Awesome!
TheMom2three thank you so much

TheMom2three you can get good results in both ways! you do a lot of practice, I recommend a course with a craftsman
Mi chiedevo come mai quel fumo nero?
Bellissime creazioni comunque 😉
