These are the blessings of Liberty as expected in ths Preamble of the US Constitution. Jesus Christ is never mentioned in the Liberty loving US Constitution.😊

And what do your thoughts have to do with Judith Butler's teaching?

@BibleAnswerMan Liberty gives the libertine the power to choose their gender. A libertine nation, valuing individual freedoms and personal autonomy, encourages people to express themselves freely, including in their choice of gender identity. It promotes an environment where personal preferences and identities are respected, and societal norms are flexible to accommodate a wide range of individual expressions.
In contrast, a Christian nation, guided by religious principles, will uphold Christian views on gender roles and identities. These views are rooted in Biblical texts and long-standing beliefs about the nature and roles of men and women. In such a nation, gender choice is restricted to your born gender.
While the libertine nation prioritizes personal freedom and the right to self-identify, the Christian nation emphasizes conformity to religious doctrines and traditional values. This leads to differing societal expectations and norms regarding gender identity and expression.

Libertine values, such as choosing one's gender identity, are rooted in the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution, which emphasizes securing the "blessings of Liberty." This foundational principle supports individual freedoms and personal autonomy, allowing citizens to make choices about their identities and lifestyles. In contrast, these values are not based on the "blessings of Jesus Christ," which in many Christian traditions, are interpreted as aligning with specific religious doctrines and moral teachings. The Constitution's focus on Liberty ensures that personal freedoms are protected by law, reflecting a secular framework designed to accommodate diverse beliefs and lifestyles in a pluralistic society.

I always find these kinds of revisionist interpretations of history amusing. The signatories of the Constitution owned slaved and forbade rights to women. Already they thought the French conception of liberty extreme and unlike their own vision. The idea that they were some kind of progressive anarchists of the French post modern tradition is hysterical and a clearly dishonest assertion on your part.
