🐾 FIND a Holistic Vet Near YOU ► www.ahvma.org/
2 of my faviourite holistic vets that I love and promote in my program.
When looking at dog allgeries and diet how come we don't talk about avoiding food that are high in histamine?
Yes! Not only that, but probiotics that can also be high in histamine or cause it.
I love both these Vets content but they didn't get into details about what DOES work. They only talk about what doesn't and while it's educational to a point, we are left looking for solutions. Its almost impossible to find a Vet with advanced way of thinking so it would be helpful to address detailed solutions to try.
Seems like it is for entertainment only.
So incredibly helpful and insightful! Thank you, truly enjoyed the video and learned so much from both of you. Dr Morgan, I didn't realize you are in NC, packing up the dogs and coming to see you
Boxer/pit skin problem itching
My Jack, a 28 month old neutered Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He scratches a fair bit. Picky eater...didn't like the puploaf so was suggested to try Balance it. He loves chicken, fed him a recipe with broccoli and spinach and carrots...then added in the supplements they sell. Well seems the recipes went up with how much supplement's to add and I noticed his itching got worse. He has had a few cytopoint injections...now 5.6mg apoquil tablet. I went back to puploaf and after a few days he is more active and you can tell he is feeling batter. I think he reacted to the supplements but has normal bowel movements. I clean Jacks ears out with my ear cleaning solution and my finger 3x a week and no ear infections yet.
@DrJudy, I have a question - Apple Cider Vinegar is in project sudz but it's shown to have anti-fungal/anti-bacterial properties. Why is it safer than Chlorhexedine or Keto?
My vet sent me home with these and MiconahexTriz [and want me to wipe her vulva with this daily because of trapped moisture]. But I've heard similar notions from Dr. Zac these drugs are not safe for daily continued use. I tend towards natural but I use these drugs often [didn't realize how bad they were] and can stop/limit.
My one dog at 6 months was given Apoquel before I adopted him. He was on and off almost 2 years. He is almost 4yrs. raw fed probiotic prodocols, etc. I doubt he will ever get through a summer without itching. I blame Apoquel and kibble before adopting.
Over vaccinated as a puppy is where it starts, then flea/tick/worm pesticides and other environmental chemicals.
Hello I Took my Dogs The Apoquel for allergies And inches what can i vive to help.? Now I cook for him
My poor dog is red, itchy, losing hair
Vet put on antibiotics, prednisone for 14 days is it allergies or what?
What to do first thing? I am making his food using turkey, kale, brown rice still itching
Do cats have the same issues with allergies as dogs? I have a one year old cat (rescue) who has something really going on with allergies I believe, she has had ear infections twice and is constantly licking herself and scratching (scratching fur off). She is my first cat (I have 6 rescue dogs)--- and I'm at a loss. She is on raw food diet, and I'm on a second new (cool) protein now. Not sure what to do. Vet is recommending prednisone..Noooooo
What about cauliflower ears? Is that an end to any hope of healing. Our rescued pug came with cauliflower right ear. All the right things are done (raw diet, etc) still she scratches her ears & licks her paws. No parasites. Blind & diabetic. Vet can’t find reason for the ear itching. She is very chilled happy & no worry despite that fact that she is blind. What could be the reason for that ear to bother her daily?
I'm recently preparing the raw food for my pets in hopes of avoiding the usual, annoying conditions they develop due to the $*@ kibbles. My dog has had allergy for way too long now and the food doesn't seem to work... At least not as quickly as possible. I found a holistic dry food, made in Germany, that seems to help. Can anyone here share your experience with the brand if you're familiar with the brand? It's Belcando and they have the premium line that's supposed to be very healthy. I bought a small bag to try but now I'm hesitant... Please help! Thank you in advance.
Put him on a raw ruminant meat only diet. Beef, sheep, goat, wild game... No monogastric animals like chicken or pork. Most dogs do best on ruminant animals.
@@PalinaZ Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate your insights. 🙏 I'll try that for sure. Have a nice day.
Just Bla Bla end nothing concrete
