Sicuani es una ciudad peruana capital del distrito homónimo y de la provincia de Canchis en el departamento del Cuzco. Es la segunda ciudad más poblada del departamento con una población estimada de 53 672 hab. en 2015.1 Se convirtió en capital provincial el 29 de agosto de 1834.

Gracias por mostrar la hermosa ciudad que fue, hoy parece una ciudad pos guerra completamente diferente, desordenada, calles tomadas por comerciantes sin control.
Me da mucha pena ver como está, completamente calamitoso, la plaza principal deformada , irreconocible.
Los últimos años que alcaldes han gobernado Sicuani para dejar de esta forma el ombligo de la región del Cusco.😭😭😭😤😤

Muy cierto lo que dice, una vision errada de sus autoridades municipales, no la conoci en sus mejores épocas pero se denota que fue una gran ciudad sólo que destruyeron lo que la caracterizaba para dar paso a una pésima modernidad remedada del cono norte de Lima. Éso si la limpieza y una campaña cívica de concienciación para que la gente ane a su ciudad es urgente desde niños a adultos y éso pasa por sus autoridades como de sus pobladores rescatando el respeto ancestral del poblador andino por su madre tierra (Pachamama) Si se puede sólo se necesita decisión y rescatar los lugares que todavia quedan en mal estado pero que mostraran el gran pasado y nivel que tuvo cono segunda ciudad en importancia de la región Cusco.

Come to Chancay (on the coast of the department of Lima). It is clean, beautiful and very different from the Peruvian highlands. On the coast we are mestizos (product of the mixture between whites and aborigines), our streets are asphalt, our houses have flat roofs, etc., while in the mountains they are aboriginal, their streets are made of concrete and the roofs of their houses . they are triangular. The coast and the mountains of Peru have marked differences.

That isn't true, cities and towns from the highlands are pretty it depends on where you go and what you recorded. More of the content of this video where inside the market and surrounds, at the end we'll see Sicuani downtown, but not the main spots and the reason was the reporter is from abroad and don't know a best route to walking. As an undeveloped country Peru main authorities are corrupted or without an smart vision and planification of their living places. The reason isn't who have main percentage of indigenous people or not, one of the best examples of that is Taquile Island on Titicaca Lake in Puno, people of this island are quechua people who mantain their traditions and living in community, preserved their environment, no car and no garbage in any corner of the island, mantaining in pristine condition. Without a proper guideline or an idea of where to walk many videos like that will be shot in any places from north to south, from coast to rainfores, from America to Europe or Africa. Cities are not the best example of the main essence of the nationality of people, is just a cement jungle in that way Sicuani turn from a beauty traditional village into a worst example of modernity from Lima, destroying their traditional beauty highland buildings to bad tall buildings with mirrors windows and all that western architecture mode into a worst vision of modernity.

Sorry to disappointment you on the footage. Unfortunately, most cities / towns I visit I have a short time in any one location.
Also especially in Peru I could never find street signs.... Really fun going down one-way streets without out knowing it's a one way street.this happened many times. 😎
