I saw the video where you purchased the truck but there wasn’t an exact detail on some of the questions I had. I’m looking to get into buying a truck just like this (stock ofc). What is a reasonable price to pay for these and what type of package should I go for (XLT)
Have you considered swapping the transfercase for a raptor 4A transfercase?
Yeah I think that has more benefit if I was N/A
Why is that? Is it because it is a weaker unit? Would seem pretty cool to have the 4A feature and not bind up the drive train. Please excuse my ignorance if this is already a well known topic.
The 4A uses clutches which at my power level would toast them quick and risk it switch back to 2wd at a bad time. If I was NA it would be perfect cause it allows the wheel to slip for a sec before the fronts kick in and maintain the traction. NA is not enough power to slip the wheels in 4wd and the engine will bog down and cause a slower time at the track
I have a 2019 f150 5.0 with the Roush 2650 blower kit and tuned on 93 by 5 star (injectors supplied with the Roush kit won't support e85), and I lost compression in cyl 5 and 6. I think I might have burned a hole in the pistons maybe? 🤔

How much rwhp were you making? Roush blowers get too hot on these, need whipple.

The PDS trans is holding just fine, the next turn up will say a lot. But in the meantime I’ve put over 20k miles on it and 100s of launches over 1k hp
@@BoostedF150 great now I just need to find some time and a trailer to get this truck. It’s a 2018 3.5 eco platinum for 25k with a slippy transmission with 55k on the clock. Think it’s worth it?
