I’ve been reviewing some of the reviews on the Onemanz site (ok, actually watching/listening to Spoon play my CEO-7 and OM-28 MD so I could hear what they are capable of). I go to Spoon’s website on a regular basis for the wealth of technical info about Martin guitars that he provides. Thanks, Spoon!
I’d like to get a Martin, has been on my list for 10 years now. There are just so many options that I think I’ve developed paralysis by analysis. Ive got a guitar center in town with a few Martins locked in their holders on the wall so its hard to fall in love by actually experiencing one,
@@jwparsons1 The Martin factory tour is fantastic, as is the museum. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time for the museum. You could easily spend a whole day there (tour and museum). Treat yourself to the “Picking Parlour” to play a variety of guitars. If you are currently in the market for a new guitar, check out whatever their current “factory only purchase” model is. As I recall, it will be displayed in the Picking Parlour. I stopped at the factory for the tour & museum while on a golf roadtrip between MN and SC. Nazareth, PA was far from on the way, but the diversion was well worth it. My only regret was that I only gave my self the morning to fit it all in. I’ll be back.
@@BobDorfman yeah, I’d love to do that one day. I’m in Virginia so it’s doable. As it is, I do a lot of window shopping on reverb, Gruhn’s website, and the unofficial Martin guitar forum. I’ll probably buy one this year but I’ve said that before.
@@jwparsons1 I know that its and easy trip from northern VA (I stayed a couple days with a daughter there). It is just a matter of blocking out the time. I’m retired (the best of all lifestyles), so it may have been easier for me than many others.
You are so great ❤
