Good point about living large. I never wear a watch or necklace and wear simple but good clothes. .Guys wearing $300 shoes are targeted.. also, bring a burner phone and leave the $1000 one back in the states.
The Samana people speak English and many of them haven’t traveled to the US in their live ,they speak English because they are African Americans descendent from AA that emigrated from the US to be free from slavery,and many Haitians that lives in DR that Oslo speaks Spanish/English/French,not all are bilingual cause they were deported from The US
