She’s this year’s Gustav for me, very underwhelmed at first but I love Hera and wanted to give her the respect of playing it several times yesterday and I started to really appreciate the song more and more. Not the epic that Je ne said quoi was and in a sea of very big songs it’s going to be totally under appreciated, especially if voters are only hearing this for the first time at the semi. Personally would much prefer she sang it in Icelandic to give it something a bit more. I think after Hatari and Daði Freyr fans have huge expectations from Iceland and a song like this isn’t it. I would be really happy if she qualifies though, she’s fabulous!
