@@ahunter7563 Thanks for noticing my point. Chemister's Insight is not a key card, so there's only 4 Insights that matter, so the pun makes no sense. Also, 8-rack decks (or decks that use puns with 8 in) tend to use functional reprints or the closest possible thing for them, not just names of similar cards.
Fun fact, although underrealm lich does mill them three times as fast, while it's on the battlefield, they can't lose to mill. The effect replaces all instances of draw, so they can't "draw a card while there are no cards left in their library" to lose.
The win con for this deck reminds me of that Indiana johnes movie where the bad guy asks for all the knowledge, and these weird alien skulls give him so much his head explodes
Sweet deck :) Just a couple of notes: 1- The opponent playing Underrealm Lich should've kept it on the board after you milled him a ton- they can't die to mill with it on the board because its a replacement effect. You would have to rebuke them off the table to win that game. 2- When you have 2 open mana and an Omniscience, you can kick Growths by just paying the kicker cost. Useful if you dont need the mana open!
The reason why you have to pay the kicker cost with Omniscience is due to the kicker being an additional cost. Additional costs do not count as part of the mana cost.
@@MTGGoldfish A few times you kind of forget that Grow from the Ashe's kicker cost is essentially free. Gotta play more commander to get that ramp sequencing in order :P
