Countryhumans were inherently doomed to fail as a fandom, because they are a flawed concept. The entire point of countryballs was to personify nations without portraying them as actual people, and countryhumans completely ruin that.

To understand Latinamerican's obssession with portraying other countries (notice how Europe/America are the main protagonists in this stories while Latinamerican countries themselves rarely appear), you have to understand that our educational system is a product of a long tradition of colonial pedagogy.
Here in Latinamerica we learn way more about 'Global (read European/Northamerican) History' than that of our own.
A boy in Bolivia has more chance of knowing way more about WW2 (in which Bolivia had little part in) than the slightest idea of any subject of Peruvian history, for an instance.
Very interesting, but on an educational level it’s probably also better that way.

As someone who has a best friend that makes countryhuman Gacha club videos, she doesn’t do any ships and includes a lot of Asian, African, and South American countries in her videos. If I’m being honest, most of the countryhuman Gacha community is either cringe with really questionable ships or opinions (or both) or less cringe but most don’t have ships or have ships that make sense. I hope more channels like my best friend’s become normal in this community

It really sucks that people make stuff like that, it hurts the reputation for all the fandoms that gacha life touches and gacha life itself. @caden555 it sucks that the fandoms reputation is hurt by gacha life and that certain type of people. I actually watch quite a few country humans gacha life but it's only reaction vids which can be cringe at times but it's definitely the better side of gacha life in my opinion. I'm not like them though I do ship a couple ships, but not to an extreme extent. I'm just a weird person that likes weird things and I'm not hurting anyone. I'm glad your chill with us. :)
