Absolute brutality, force and melodicity my favourite DM band in their best line-up. Hoffmans rulz. Devastating Brian's solos on Carnage in the... Nice memories !
san Francisco? I don't remember any big death metal bands coming from there during that time period the big bands mainly came from Florida new York and from over seas
Gold!!! Good old times!!! I really miss the early 90's, my youth and my really long hair, I'm bald now 😂... it's okay. 46 and I still love death metal 🖤
For starters Carcass is grindcore and transitioned to crappy death metal, Death started off death metal then completely switched it up doing acoustic stuff, sounds great but it’s not Death Metal. Morbid Angel haven’t released a good album in years. Obituary are good but they are not on the same level as Deicide or CC
@@LordTormentorcarcass into crappy death metal? Bro shut up maybe you should listen again all of the bands were good and actually sold well. carcass transitioned to death metal in their second album 1989 and death metal was just starting off (a few bands already had some records out) especially since carcass and morbid Angel probably had the most extreme sound in 1989
"I remember Deicide was scheduled to come in and do their album after ours (Eaten Back To Life), so we met up with them and ended up watching them practice, and man, they were fucking sick! They were headbanging at rehearsal, it sounded incredible, and we knew then that they were going to be big." - Alex Webster
In the begining, Glenn says "Hello Bufalonians" which leads me to believe this mightve been in buffalo ny? or maybe he was kidding because the cannibal guys were watching?
How it used to be. I miss these days. They were tight as fuck too. Back when bands used to practice practically everyday!
Steve was Always a fucking monster on the drums
The hoffman bros shredding.

@@margar2321 I was mainly referring to the Bay Area thrash metal scene.

If they only knew they would become the two biggest death metal bands in history.
They were well on their way at that point. They had a huge underground following.
What about DEATH and OBITUARY and MORBID ANGEL and CARCASS ???!!!

Was referring to Cannibal Corpse crew.
Some of the old death-metal bands moved from new york to florida cannibal, malevolent creation to name a few.
Imagine if they had a bass player
I see Alex, who else from Cannibal is hanging out?
Paul
Chris Barnes is there too. In fact I think it's him who laughs at Glen's "Heil Satan!" at the beginning.
