  • The French TGV has long been one of the great high speed trains of the world, making it easy to get around the country at 300kph.     Well as someone who lives in France, I should always be grateful that we have these wonderful trains and high speed rail network and never take them for granted. Plus we have Ouigo who have taken the easyJet low cost airline model and adapted it to high speed rail in order to offer rock bottom fares (10-20 euros from Paris to Nice for instance)

    Nice. That is a second generation duplex called the Dasye. The first generation was made from 1995-2006, the second generation was made from 2006-2012, and the third generation has been made since 2011. You liked the paint job on the TGV. I like it too but I also liked the old paint job. There was also orange and blue TGV's. The blue TGV is my favorite. There is one blue TGV left and it's a first generation Duplex

    France do have the best trains. Especially the TGV.
