The movie is way better than the novel. A great directorial debut for Alex, and I thought the acting was really impressive. This story brought to mind the UK’s Hampstead Christ Church Primary School’s satanic ritual abuse victims’ case and how the 2 siblings (boy and girl) were subjected to severe abuse and trauma and instructed to touch and perform sexual acts unto each other by their father, leading to mental dissociation. Both the novel and the movie explore these concepts to an extent (albeit not in satanic abuse context) and I think that victims of such traumatic abuse and dissociation will find the novel / movie very triggering and difficult to watch.
i love how alex looks at the girls to the right all happily and shes just over it the entire time
considering all ide heard bout him, I was shocked what a good movie it was, impressive
he prob grew a lot since the clashes with a co star in the stripper movie. he seem so talented and kool here...

I disagree. The novel beats the film. I am Tawnis biggest fan and admit the acting was only decent. Amber/Nicole was a poor choice.
Alex is so cute lol
