El ciclista colombiano Nairo "Nairoman" Quintana fue entrevistado durante la Presentación de su Equipo en la Ciudad de Copenhague, Dinamarca, ciudad donde esta edición de la carrera tendrá su 'Grand Départ'.
Quintana oriundo de Tunja (Altitud Media: 2822 metros sobre el nivel del mar), la capital del Departamento de Boyacá en la Cordillera Oriental de los Andes, fue el ganador del Tour de l'Avenir del 2010 cuando tenía 20 años, uno de seis ciclistas colombianos que lo han ganado. Como su nombre lo indica, el ganador de la carrera llega a la puerta de entrada al estrellato de este deporte.

Quintana a Native of Tunja (Median Elevation: 2822 Meters Above Sea Level), the capital of the Department of Boyacá in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes, was the winner of the 2010 Tour de l'Avenir when he was 20 years old, one of six Colombian Cyclists who have won it. As it's name implies the winner of the race makes it to the front door of cycling stardom.
