Steam Across Colorado's La Veta Pass

Technically it's Veta Pass, an early 20th century standard gauge realignment of the Denver & Rio Grande narrow gauge's 1874 crossing of Old La Veta Pass to the north. Not to be confused with the New La Veta Pass route even further north that carries U. S. 160. But to me, the mysterious freight-only trackage was just the La Veta pass route. Finally, in 2007 I got to ride a train over it. Behind steam, no less.
