Remember nobody is perfect even leaders of the church. It’s the gospel of Jesus Christ that makes the church true. Having more faith will help you overcome your doubts

Then why do you care so much about posting on church video’s? Who cares what other people believe. Life is too short to warn people about the LDS church. Lol

Careful with that kind of thought process. The leaders may not be perfect (nobody is but Christ anyway) but yet they are called in their imperfection by a perfect God, who calls His leaders in perfect wisdom. We have a sacred duty. If we love our perfect God, then we will sustain and follow those whom he calls. Even in their imperfection, most of them are doing more than most of us ever will in this life. I love and sustain them all.

Many of my own family joined the church in England. I am forever grateful for their love and examples! I can't wait to see you all again! Thank you Elders for this lovely tribute! I felt like I was there with you! Be safe in your travels! I am so excited for our coming General Conference!

Temos o profeta vivo! Amo os profetas.

Actually the church had already rejected the higher law and was rejected by God by 1840. God gave them a second chance with Nauvoo which they also failed.
The mission did save the church because it brought in the English converts who mostly travelled west with Brigham while the rest stayed east.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
NAnd there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:
This is from Revelation 12 KJV
I will show you that you fought in that war to have the freedom here on earth to choose to follow the path you are on now if you would like? You are a spirit child of God. He will not force you to follow Him. He wants you to choose to to learn from Him as your own free agent.

      I believe they do.
I actually suspect you and others wonder if the church will soften the standards to accommodate the lifestyles of those who disagree with those standards. I don’t think love necessarily includes condoning or perhaps even advocating for what God has forbidden. I have learned to really love people whom I disagree with.

      2 Nephi 5:21:
21 And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.
White skin is better to have than black sin? You're defending this?!
I don't want the church to "soften their standards:, I want the church to shrivel up and die. Racism is built into the foundation of the philosophy, and unless Mormonism abandons the Book of Mormon, it can not exist in a world where we believe racism is wrong.
P.S. we know how races came to exist, and it had nothing to do with your fairy tale.

How very sad is your advice. When you advise your brothers and sisters to run away from the Kingdom of God on earth because you aren't comfortable in it. Our name is not Mormons, a derogatory slang as was Christians originally. The real name is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Your advice is to run from Jesus Christ? Maybe you would find peace by investigating into the doctrines of the Church, turn around and run to this endeavor. Even Paul, apostle of the New Testament, turned from persecuting the Saints to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ. So can we all.

    • @chrisstadler2344
      @chrisstadler2344 Рік тому

@@terryslade6240 the Church doesn’t provide ACTUAL evidence. The only thing “true” about the Church is the member’s sincerity. The church was founded by a folk magician who claimed to see messages from God in a glowing rock. He claimed to translate ancient writings that have proven to be fiction. Evidence is not something the church provides but relies on the faith of its membership and to gain the trust of its members the leadership avoid evidence by hiding most of its History. Evidence of this, is watching once faithful members leave after researching the Church’s ACTUAL history.
