Here we go, Rudy not pumping MTG, Flesh and Blood or Weiss, he just pumping dollars now. 2021 crazy right?
From cents on the dollar to thousands over the dollar per dollar, Rudy pumps and pumps, no dumps
Rudy is the Elon Musk of cards
Tbh he did tell us what his background is, and he seems to stay on top of a lot of market trends(Even if he's wrong occasionally[expected with any investor]). The man definitely does his DD, and does a thorough TA. I don't like everything he says but he is very reasonable with his predictions.

I thought that was already public knowledge
I was expecting old hot sauce packets and wrappers
i do as well u got a problem wit dat??? gem mint 10 burrito chalupa w/ extended mold and aluminim foil stuck to it.....JELLY?
About 12 years ago I came across a 1934 $100 bill at my job. I cashed my check and asked for that bill specifically. I got an acrylic thing and put it in there... I imagine it would grade maybe a 10.... yea it's in terrible condition. But still I like it.

Day 24 of commenting every video until Rudy or some other user shows me the zombie apocalypse video: Rudy, please re-upload your zombie apocalypse video where you show all your gums. Your community has grown so much and we all want to see your epic old videos! If you don't want to do it on UA-cam, maybe on Tacohub or xtaco...

Just want to say I appreciate you sharing a personal passion with us, after all this time. I always find it to be fascinating even if their interest doesn't fascinate me.
Super video! I applauded for $2.00 👏
I'm the proud owner of a 50 billion Zimbabwean dollar bill. Hyperinflation sure is interesting.
the american dollar will be there soon lol
Heard we are going to make a million dollar bill note.
I have all of them from 1 dollar to 100 trillion. It's an interesting view on hyperinflation for sure. (To be fair the 100 trillion notes never managed to get into circulation before the currency collapsed).
@@transferstationthriftstore1525 I'm not sure if I remember right but I think million dollar US notes have existed, but they were purely used as transfer currency between government storages or something like that. They would never have been legal tender for regular people. e: checked and it was $100,000 only used internally by the federal reserve. my bad.
Very nice change of pace, I've never seen these "payable in gold" bills before.
I have been buying graded silver and gold while stacking bullion at same time. You get the double numismatic and precious metal content value.
My currency collection consists of a $2 bill from my birth year, a few $2 bills with Santa and the Easter Bunny in place of the president and a few pennies you put in those machines that flatten them and make them into novelties when you visit a tourist attraction
I love old American currency, and the [wild af] history behind it all. I would be so happy if videos like these were biweekly.

This is really cool, Rudy. I love seeing these non-Magic collectibles of yours. Also love your rambling financial advice videos. Favorite videos on the channel.
Cool vid Rudy! Fascinating stuff for sure! Studying history really puts things in perspective when you think about all that came before us. We’re all just a blip in time, better live to the fullest!
One of the things I love on Pawn Stars is when there is high end currency, along with the Japanese swords and rare coins. Myself I have a very tiny collection (less than $5k) of Gem BU US silver coins (raw) from the late 1800s and early 1900s. It’s a type collection. So I have some Indian cents, Liberty Head Nickels, Mercury Dimes, Standing Liberty Quarters, Walking Liberty Halves, and Morgan/Peace dollars. I go for raw MS63 and blazing white...I’m not into toning or dots. Even though it’s a small collection with no key dates, it looks visually stunning.
US coins and currency in high grade from before the modern presidential coin era are just amazing to behold in high grade.
I have Specimen Notes from a lot of European countries. All pre-Euro (mostly immediately pre) including England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, (these are all pre euro --->) Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, the list goes on. Most of the notes are extremely hard to get in any denomination. A lot of money in it, but you provided sage wisdom at the end of the video.
That's awesome! I love collecting old and new coins and currency from all over the world. It's crazy having coins and things from 1800s and older and just thinking about who all owned it before you. And I also love collecting arrowheads and Indian artifacts to.
I have a 1806 large cent. Having something over 200 years old that is US history is pretty cool
So freaking awesome. I had a sneaking suspicion Rudy collected currency.
I remember senior year of highschool I got so drained listening to my drugged up NPC art teacher go off on another student. After class I left and went to the books a million and randomly grabbed a book on currency and looked at all the old notes. Learned a lot that day. Central banks are the worst thing humans have ever invented and I'm glad people are getting fed up with them.
I hope more people read up like you did! the misdirection won't be as effective
One of the coolest parts of those big bills is that they are STILL legal tender, every piece of money going back to the very first penny in the 1700s is still worth its face value. I'm surprised you don't have any of the above $100 bills Rudy, in the first half of the 20th century they also made bills in $500 denominations all the way up to $100,000! They stopped making them after 1945, but there's still ~75,000 of the $500 bills out there (worth upwards of 2x face value or more even in beaten up condition to collectors). You'd probably have issues buying a TV with $500 bill at Wal Mart, but a bank would have to take it in a deposit. Of course doing that would be crazy because of the collector value, and the bank would send it to be exchanged and destroyed!
Can you make a video explaining your history with the military? I've heard you talk about it before in passing before and would really like to hear that story. Thanks for the content Rudy
Rudy- been subbed to you since the beginning. In fact I bought something from you very early in your UA-cam start. Anyway, you into silver and gold too? I just moved from only bullion on my channel and have been incorporating comics now.
For those who don't know, the coin/currency grading system goes up to 70; with 70 being considered effectively perfect both in terms of condition up to 5x magnification and creation. It was actually considered impossible to reach it with minting tech until only a few decades ago. For example there were hundreds of millions of Morgan silver Dollars from made from 1878-1921. Only a few dozen have ever been graded 69.
Many of the old notes had stunning art. Wish they would something like that today!
Dang, he spent a pretty penny for sure here. The PMG65 1922 $20 Gold note is worth $5-$7k along with those 2 'Woodchopper' notes at $2000each. Plus that 'educational' note is about $4K in PMG65. There are some foreign graded notes that you should consider in the highest grade (PMG68-70) you can get cuz they are also truly rare. Luxembourg notes (WWII era) are quite rare in high grade. Spanish notes in high grade during their revolution period 1936-9 are highly sought after too. Food for thought.
Ive been collecting coins for almost 15 years... NGC is my grader of choice , my favorite coin is the Franklin Half Dollar which yes i have a full set..
I've not gotten into paper yet, I mainly do coins. My tastes too tend towards the artistry of the coin.
If you want to check out some cool history; dive down the rabbit hole around the Hawaiian silver dollar. They're not terribly expensive either, considering their scarcity.
4:42 If 1896 silver certificates aren't the educational series, I can't imagine what was. The $1, $2, and $5 from that year (and the unreleased $10 one) are the bills everyone thinks of when they talk about educational notes.
Also, I'll grant you that the 1922 $20 is a great looking bill, but I'll do you one better - the 1905 "Technicolor" $20 gold certificate. Same basic layout, but a lot more color on the front.
We are so lucky to have someone like Rudy generous enough to educate us and show some of his amazing collection

I'd been looking at graded ancient coins lately. It's insane to me that something 2000 years old sells for a few hundred bucks
I’ve thought the same thing. Imagine if that ancient roman coin was used to buy a handjob at some ancient brothel!

This is too awesome super hyped to see your into this hobby as well! Side note blow some people’s minds with the 500 and 1000 dollar note lol
Nice, hope you and Shawn from Reserved Investment can do a live stream sometime.
After this video Rudy walks into a secret warehouse to a seemingly random row, to a seemingly random shelf, opens the box, files through a couple dividers, splits apart an area and then drops in these american dollar notes.
Those are gorgeous. The whole Wertzeichen (stamp/certificate/currency) markets are still very much undervalued imo. So much history for so little money. You can buy 200 year old rare stamps or railroad stock from the 19th century for ~ 50 bucks. That's crazy given the historical significance of some of those items.

My dad had a small amount of silver US coins (maybe $600 worth). I didn't realize the old paper bills looked that way. Very interesting!
Great, the values of graded paper currency are about to spike.
Fascinating, I like this video a lot, but I have to ask why 80% of ebay seems ok for you to pay?
Because that's roughly what the seller would net after ebay fees and shipping anyways
@@alexkueter9710 yeah that makes sense it just seems more worth trying facebook or instagram or mercari first, but that does make sense
Hey Rudy, looking at the $5 H88943211 it was previously graded at 63 by CGA, and it looks like it was cracked and gotten a higher grade via PMG, then on sold.
You should check out Allen and Ginter Birds from the late 1800's. Some of the first collectible cards (I think the first were a set of Allen and Ginter famous generals) but great artwork, and you can pick up a ton of them for basically the cost of grading nowadays.
Love it Rudy!! We talked about the paper money collecting. I am glad you decided to share with us!
Rudy!!, I opened up my wallet and sent in every dollar and coin I have to PMG. When everything comes back a Gem Mint 70 I will sell those for more money and take that money and get it graded and sell it!! Yes finally ahead of the game!!
You should add the porthole notes, black eagle, big chief, and the buffalo.
Rudy, what is your opinion on Goldbacks? If you've never seen them you might like them for the art
Loved this video! Your always thinking outside the box and I enjoy it
Been collecting money all my life, though I've never purchased bills online, I restrict myself to only adding what I personally find. Working a register at a grocery store part time gives me more opportunities to find cool things. Whenever I find a wheat penny in the register, I'll swap it out with a newer penny
This was an awesome switch up, I especially like the bill with the reclining Greek looking woman and small child - so cool
When you thought you couldn't enjoy Rudy content enough then find out the cherry on top is that he is also a fellow numismatist. This hobby originally led me down the rabbit hole of open minded life in regards to investing and "red pill"
Unfortunately being a numismatist is looked down on and labelled "stupid boring silly nerdy" whatever. I don't care it's amazing the art and history. You can't tell me a walking liberty half or a peace dollar aren't the most beautiful pieces of art you can hold in your hand
Paper is an interesting and erudite hobby, rich in history - but metal is the boss sauce 😉
Edit: that's a really nice collection btw, crisp bills 🤑 Glad you're putting this in your content.
I’m more curious to see your graded comic collection Rudy , but I have been collecting old currency for a while.
HAIRY ARM GUY I've been doing this for the past 10+ years coins mainly but still graded. The currency is beautiful the further back you go. One Question do you look thru your change after you buy something? Keep staying Pawzitive Bro 👍
Thank you for sharing Rudy! You ought to get into vintage brass instruments :- D
Love how detailed money was in 1907 yet your basic home ink jets may have been an electric typewrite 90 years later.
What would the Black Lotus/Charizard of currency be?
Watermelon thousand I think
@@robertstevensii4018 Oh wow, it sold for 3.2 million.
Thats awesome, Rudy. Thank you for sharing some awesome history. I really enjoyed this. The 1896 was friggin so cool.
I wish there was a grading service for ads as i have an unfound enjoyment of the art that goes into building ads for different products.
It’s amazing really, by promoting what you’re investing in, it allows more people to become aware and buy in, thus increasing your return. Nice market manipulation. ;)
I am not surprised in the least that you have this kind of stuff, completely on brand! Also, a fun thing I like to point out to folks on the old currency is that 'they didn't need to print "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the money when it was backed by precious metals!' (yeah, I know that got added as part of the Red Scare, but still). I was also surprised to see that they still had silver certificates in the '30s as I just assumed that when Roosevelt took the country off the gold standard, that silver went with it.
Rudy, what do you think about investing in gold/silver?
Interesting. Can't say I see the beauty and majesty that Rudy does.
Probably because its just money and I've never grown up looking at my coins or bills appreciating the art. To each their own of course. It is neat as a historical piece in the same way that its neat to see really old commercials or marketing for long time companies.
Naturally I'm now curious what else Rudy's been hiding. Can we expect a property full of Back to the Future memorabilia? A huge collection of classic pogo sticks? Puzzle boxes? Signage? Ancient weaponry and armour?

I died when Rudy said "Enlarged giggity" 🤣
If it sells for $10,000 on ebay Rudy would like to buy it for $8,000. $8,000, for his personal collection? So I see, when Rudy's buying for his 'personal collection' he has no moral compass. In other words, Rudy always positions himself behind the A/I counter. I'd be curious if Rudy ever gives back, is charitable, gives the homeless guy a $20 bill, does anything more for his community than just pay his taxes. Seriously, I want to know if Rudy is more than a pirate profiteer sailing in a sea of Magic cards with his third peg leg hanging out for all to gawk at.
I think you know the answer to this question already
Great Video. I'm more into coins than paper currency but I do have some. I would love to get some high grade "Educational Dollars" from the 1890s. They are like fine art imo.

Hey Rudy, it's Alpha INVESTMENTS show us all the cool shit you invest in, not just the magic cards. I kinda want to get into old currency to, but like with magic, I actually like the moderately played Revised cards. I like stuff that fees worn and unique.
So where can a person go buy old 18 and 19 hundreds currency that is used?
Is there a 'black lotus' in the small/large notes?
What about grading this physical bitcoins? . . .
There is something very fitting about Rudy collecting money. Very cool collection!
Thumbnail is an Educational Note from 1894, if memory serves. Beautiful piece there

How much are rare venezuelan bolivars worth? You think this is a better purchase than gold or silver right before the collapse of the US dollar?
I absolutely love old currency. I'm mainly into coins, but some of the old bills really get me going. Fractionals are the most interesting to me.
Had no idea this was a thing. Incredible!🤯
This collecting is way bigger than mtg collecting, the difference is people don’t post it on social media because the people that collect don’t really use social media ha
Do yourself a favor and look up the "educational series" notes he mentioned. 1899 I believe, and unquestionably the most beautiful notes ever printed.
Coins and currency is a MASSIVE market. Graded or ungraded. It's easy to get into and hard to leave
Hell yes! I just bought a Hawaii note, paper money is awesome! Coins are awesome too, I know graded holds the most value, but I like raw coins and bills best, I want to be able to hold and examine them unimpeded.
I have a very new respect for you. Every time I find a star note or a small note I save it I have never spent one star note I've ever found. Someday I hope to bump into you to just shake your hand. Thankyou for respecting something that seems to be disappearing.
Damn that metric on printed money in the last 12 months is scary.
I stared stacking silver, gold and constitutional silver once inflation started a few months ago. Also been collecting pre 1982 pennies and rare notes. Cool to hear you’re kinda doing the same Rudy.
Started going for that silver at the start of 2020, also saving all my copper pennies ha.
I collect NGC graded American coins. I like them better than bills because a high quality coin is much more obvious (they shine) and as they age they can get a rainbow pattern. I love em.
Great video. What about physical silver?
Can we see your silver, gold, palladium stack? Maybe you have graded comics as well, or your mint in box star wars, g.i. joes, transformers?
Love the collection, Rudy. I have always loved the artistic side of old US currency. Eventually I hope to get to where I can afford to get back in a little bit at least. Beautiful collection though. :)
I do National notes and Obsolete Notes along with Silver and Gold Bullion and Jewelry. But the best stuff is obviously PM's. Paper money is just novelty.
Thanks for sharing this! I collect US coins. The graded notes aren't really my thing, but it's cool to see them!
Thanks for sharing, old currency is awesome! One time i got a silver certificate as change at a gas station, asked if he had anymore and score! got a few more 1$ silvers that an older gent had decided to spend that day.
Do you own any of the huge notes? I mean large amounts like the old 1,000 dollar or even the 10,000 dollar notes
The amount of time you spend believing we can't is more than enough time to learn how you can
Thats amazing. Are these like worth a lot of money? Like could you sell them for a lot of money? Thats insane that these old dollar bills are worth more than they're printed for
