I'd love to see a deep dive video on the copy function. When you copy over a tribesman to your main, do you get the higher proficiency levels too? So if my tribesman is 120 on dual blades my main character will be 120 after the copy or does it remain stuck at 60? Do the talents copy over too? I was hoping they would let you pick & choose talents (or combinations of talents) from different tribesmen and apply to your main character, but that probably would have been too OP. If the levels remain at 60 after the copy, then that would seem to defeat the purpose. If not, then the hunt for the best tribesmen just became a priority. Where are the best tribesmen? What talents are the best for certain weapons and play style? Which are the best talents period? If you copy over your main character do you loose the new inherent talents they implemented forever? How do these talents stack up against the best ones you might get from a tribesmen? Maybe it's better to keep the new ones versus copying? Sounds like there's no "do over" button for this swap...once you copy over you're main you're screwed if it turns out the new talents implemented in the patch were better overall. This new system is like a 3/4 fix. They shouldn't limit the main to 60. You still have to go out and scout the best tribesmen to get the best talents. And since talents are balanced on the tribesmen you will get extra grind by trying out different combinations. All you're really keeping is the character looks anyway. Isn't there a body shaping pill (or something like that) which you can use to apply your original character looks on a tribesman anyway? I haven't gotten that far to use it, but that was going to be my plan when I unlocked the option. Find an excellent tribesman with good talents and levels, and then just remodel the looks to match the main... Sorry for the length, but there are many things to consider with this new feature and the patch notes left a lot out.
Just confirmed that arrows DO travel through the personal portal with you now on official PVP server. As for the updates, I think that they are catering to the "softer and louder" player base that simply don't understand how the game is supposed to be played, or didnt give it a fair shot and moved on to one of the many other similar games that dropped around the same time. I dont think that autopull should be a thing on official pvp servers {thats what your tribesman crafters are for). I'm so happy we can now save our tribesmen with updated stats, and with that ability, I think it was redundant to create the perfect tribesman, but we'll see when I get there. I'm glad that they let the opened up the personal portals on build now without unlocking them at the ape, myself and 3 tribemates defeated the ape but I was the only one who could use the portals for some reason it didnt count for them. (but did show up as a steam achievment)
I play solo 99.9% of the time and I had kind of fallen off a bit from the game, because I didn't feel good enough to progress and building got stale with the limited pieces we have. This saves solo gameplay for me. Really awesome to be able to have more tribesmen follow me now, so if one die in a dungeon, I'm not completely screwed trying to do the boss, for example. Nice change. Not 100% sure about being able to steal tribesmen stats, tbh. It kind of completely defeats having the control function.
Keep in mind, the perfect remodel is an option in the advanced options section. Almost all of the options can be adjusted for quality of life, difficulty, and so on
@wak4863 both the remodels were requested but essentially the one that let's us override our created character is there to placate the player base that didn't like their created character essentially being useless. Admittedly while I appreciate them both it does make it harder to set back tribes in pvp as they now can recover from raids much faster now
Nice to see some videos on the updates - just a tip, some of the "just reading out the updates one after another" can be rather monotints so maybe try mixing that up a bit. That being said, I am thankful you are covering the updates and Ill be sure to watch more in the future.
im quite happy about the perfect remodel for npcs and the buffs to the main character, it may not appeal to some of the more hardcore players with i understand. I do also agree tho that these features (except the proficiency buffs to the main character) should maybe not be on pvp servers
I think it's nice for invasion or if you have them go into battle with you, and also good to keep as a choice. I don't really want to use my main, and the only benefit to that is respawns.
Okay, so I personally don't like that they added the transcribe feature. I understand why and accept it for what it is. I'll also probably use it for the convenient respawns. That said, also adding the perfect remodel does actually make sense for my style of gameplay. Yes I have a favorite tribesman that I do most stuff with, but I also have a tribesman that has heat resistance for when I need to go to the volcano, another that has poison resistance, and a dungeon delver with 124 hammer proficiency as well as a hammer damage talent. So if I decide to transcribe my favorite onto my start character, I still don't want to have to re-level from scratch if that stupid frog kills my poison resistant tribesman again.
@@derek9062 I do that too, but I'm a crawler. So sometimes I end up spending a lot of time in poison fog areas. For example, when I need the better venom I'll go into the cave at the entrance to the wetland holy ruins. Lots of creepy crawlies attacking at once and I'll also get the iron while I'm in there since I'm at the point in my game where I simply don't have enough iron. Stacking 30% poison resist on top of the armor mods and the yerba mate makes a big difference.
How are these "conflicting" features? One gives you the ability to play out your main character a bit longer than before (I am not going to stick with a character whose proficiencies are capped at 60 and 90), and the other allows you to save the progress of all your characters as they level. You call that "making the game easier", which may be incrementally true, but I think adding the ability to Deploy multiple fighters now at the same time clearly is the single biggest "easy mode" feature. I watch almost all your videos because you are a wealth of good information, you present it well and you're a smart guy. But this comment left me baffled, Wak!
The deep scan overwrites your character. Did we really need a buffed character to just overwrite it? I don’t really think so. More is not always better, but like I said I haven’t played the update enough to know for sure.
Right but if you choose to do that, your proficiencies will be forever capped at 60's and 90's. All this does really is extend how long you can play your original character until you move up to get with the program and move into a new character.
@@BobFromSeattleIm not sure if i understand did you mean capped at 60 and 90s if you copy over? since the update said "Can copy a tribesman's quality, level, class, title, talent, proficiency, mastery, and so on, and transfer these data to the initial character." so i assumed it copies the entire tribesman over
Dude stop crying. These changes are great. No aspect of this update is conflicting. And it's not a 'main character' It is the player-made Char. Or initial character. work on your IQ
my issue with this update was the title "first Free major update" the world free should not of been there pissed off my friend enough that he won't play anymore
SO in other words we no longer have to control Tribsmen as such if we cna copy thier data to the main character, kind of defeats the purpose other then have craftsmen
I don't like it. The main character should earn his own talent and proficiency. Through doing milestones and achievements or means nothing, your just stealing someone else's life.

Marks are map markers/custom markers. I was confused about that too.

Updating models and personal teleport connecting to the network is amazing

tad surprised you didn't give a cheer that we'll no longer have to deal with endless pots being tossed at us.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos, they are so lively and informative! ✨🍓
Thanks

8:55 personal marks and shared marks might probably be related to the map markers that we put on map and can share to tribe members.. I guess..

Awesome changes!!!!😎👍
Now they just need to fix the naked lvl 1 NPCs parrying you and throwing your max lvl character with top gear around like a ragdoll.
Marks refer to how many marks can be placed on the map
One thing on the private server deploy limit, when I looked at my server settings it was going to allow me to put it up to 100 deployed not just 3
Thanks for the update. But throwing spaghetti on the wall is blasphemy. Plus Mrs. Wak won't be very happy!😂

just put poison resist mods on your armor

i love the devs, game just keeps getting better
Aren't the marks, the marks one can put down on the map? This Patch is so nice, I really have to test it out tomorrow. Thanks for the video!
That could very well be what it is.
Yes, that is what is being referred to :)
Will the new mask buff for transferring tribesman stats to your character work if you already killed the Ape?
guys can we get Wak a new PC? xD
The marks means the marks you can put on the map i do believe.
Are you playing pve or pvp? Which one would you suggest to play?

It would have been nice if they had lock some of this features behind some of the doom bosses. 😅
That way the player has something to work to😂😂
I’m already maxed out 😅 and overpowered before this update. Now I’m more powerful lol. Now the game is easier now
Is the gameplay lagging?
I feel like it was but I had my editing software open when recording.
@@eliminaator7720 yeah it’s lagging for me too
can't watch this video lol
Can we copying another tribemen traits in the future once we already done for the first time?
They need to fix the issue where all Pyramid mobs look stupid.
So we can still control tribesmen? Kinda try them out before we become them permanently?
What I like about it is that I can finally play my original avatar, and you are not forced to copy over, its just a choice? Right?

Can i bring loot back n forth thru basic portal on pvp server?
Did you record this on a potato?

Your friend sounds a little soft
@@sirberhus6604 not soft just not ready to be fucked over by another developer.
Great vdio.. could you go tru best setting for weapons at 30, 60, 90, 120… thanks
man, there are way too many teleporters now, and the revival in dungeons like damn game made too easy
I'm even more overpowered now on Hard difficulty and its getting kind of boring
Doesn't the quick remodel come with a debuff though?
I don't think so. I don't know for sure I did not try it.
it comes with a 30 minute debuff on max hp
is the tribesmen copy in pvp servers?
Yes all server types.
I love these changes!
Now we just need teleporting feature to ALL PVP servers, so we can get some real PVP going! :D
SO in other words we no longer have to control Tribsmen as such if we cna copy thier data to the main character, kind of defeats the purpose other then have craftsmen
There is no purpose for the initial character. That's the issue. I wish I could just delete mine. Waste of space.

Its called soul mask its all about ur mask
@dutchxtrik true.
Games dying I feel 6k players on update day 7pm not looking good boys n girls. 😢
