Again, in case anyone tries this and it doesnt work first time, keep trying and it will eventually work. It took me 5 tries and I was beginning to think it would never work but it finally did. Fantastic video, I had an iPhone 8+ that is otherwise fine that I wanted to give to a teenager and this sorted it out.

thank you sooo much my stupid self just factory reset and this video helped! future video watchers, the first couple of times it didnt work and i panicked. but i took a deep breath and keep trying to turn it off and turn it back on a few more times and it then turned on to the language page! it works, just believe!

YOU ARE A GODSEND. I just spent 3 hours replacing my lcd + screen on my 7 Plus, and in the process had to sacrifice the home button due to a stripped screw. I eventually replaced the screen successfully, and upon plugging it in, it showed that it was disabled. Then I spent 1 hr and a half restoring it, and at the end of it all I ran into this problem.

In one of the newer updates you can actually turn it on just before the choose Wi-Fi network screen pops up. There is a circular symbol with a man on it. Click it to access accessibility settings. Worked for me

ive reset my phone and has to restore from backups to get Assistive Touch but the back up took up 98% of my storage and most of it was apple sftware that couldnt be deleted. Thank you so much for this vid, I never would have thought of this.
