I will always have great memories of this game and its soundtrack. Life was so much simpler when I was 7 years old when this game came out in 1998. Playing my Nintendo consoles were the number one thing I did for entertainment before the internet became mainstream in society. It must have been 3-4 years until I actually completed this game because I just could not figure out how to beat the Fortress of Fear boss for that long! 😅
Oh heck yeah! My favorite composition in Glover! I so love the drumloops and the synths used here. They're pretty unique synths for an N64 game. I always hear a dissonant choir in 0:42 and it makes it sound even better!

@@MacUser2-il2cx No hate, just a lot of noticed jank that I was not aware as a kid and some genuinely obscure level design at times. I still love this game a lot and cherish the memories of my first playthrough (even though that heavily abused the game's cheat code system, lol).

Maybe its because of compression. The synth is in the OST. 1:14 - 1:25 It feels like the synth is too loud. I dunno. You don't need to change it though. I appreciate your efforts. Love your work. Banjo Kazooie? OOT? DKR? Perfect Dark?
Thanks! I set the volume levels manually so maybe they were a little quieter in the OST. I am available for commission for those other games but I just did this one because it was a big part of my childhood. I do believe DKR had streamed, not sequenced music, so that one would not be possible

that depends on emulator and the person's pc specs. (i.e you must have an good pc to run an very good N64 emulator. cuz if not, you instead will have a pretty bad computer which can only run a basic n64 emu)

I used to play this game on Windows 98. I never played it on N64. It's interesting to hear what N64 tried to do. The PC version had perfect sound.

i'd say it's a pretty fun platformer with innovative mechanics, but of course it doesn't hold a candle to Banjo-Kazooie or Mario 64
