Hi Ryan, you are fast track to self awareness and 'coming out if the fog' Well done! It took me half a century to talk about it and feel that this happened but it's not who I am.
" with mental health sometimes you want to die, or it feels like you want to die, but the moment its close to happening you want to survive. So you don't really want to die. You just want to kill the sadness thats inside you. " 😢 Such a powerful statement that needs to be heard so that those in need can learn to separate themselves from the problems they want to go away forever. Know you from the Ibiza days Peshy and so happy to see you're doing well
Hi Ryan. I know we've only met a few times, but this video and your story highlights what a privilege it is for me to know you. Huge respect mate, especially as when we first met you were helping others, which was not always easy, while battling with these demons. I admire you mate. Well done for your bravery and taking this huge step to address this painful secret and issue. I hope you find peace and further happiness.
Well done Ryan, I think your adoption story will help so many. It certainly resonates with my journey. Its always comforting to hear other experiences and know you are not alone in that. It sounds like you have made really positive changes in spite of the difficulties you faced, amazing!🙂
Total respect Ryan, nobody should feel ashamed or carry around secrets like a weight on their backs it's soul destroying. You have unloaded that baggage in a way that will help others for sure. Your transparency and frankness has allowed us all to see the real you and that person is obviously intelligent, articulate, full of empathy with a kind-heart. You single handedly have removed the biggest obsticle in your path and cast it aside now for ever, your life-Journey has now started a new chapter a new you. I hope all your wishes are fulfilled one day but until that day comes stay focused, keep strong and don't stop inspiring people :-》》》》 Kenny
Well done sharing this inspiring video Ryan - it will definitely help others on a similar journey. Wishing you all the best and keep following your dream of finding family members. ❤
Ryan, well done with telling your story and offering encouragement to others. You are a brave soul to open up your inner thoughts as you have. I would like to encourage you to try and focus more on having been " the chosen one" and less the" abandoned one". In one thought your glass is empty but in the other way of thinking your glass is over flowing. To my mind, being abandoned means to have been thrown away or left to die somewhere all alone but that's not what happened to you, you were placed in the care of people who were able to take better care of you when your birth mother was not able to do that. She loved you enough to place you somewhere safe perhaps hoping you would have a better life than the she was able to provide for you. You were given the great gift of parents who chose you, loved you and kept your safe for almost 31 years. Even though they weren't the perfect parents (what child thinks their parents are perfect?) they did their best they knew how. The love of parents is immense even if they are unable to show this feeling. The culture they grew up in was different than those from today where emotions are out there for everyone to share. Some day I hope you get the chance to love a child of your own and then you will know what I say is true. I encourage you to continue your search for your biological family. I believe every person has the right to know where they started out no matter where that may be. I am a amateur genealogist and some experience with searching for unknown parentage, if you are able to afford it I strongly suggest that you do a YDNA test through FTDNA. This DNA test will help to determine your paternal line and any surnames that your bio dad might be connected to. It will at least give you a name or two to look for if and when you get back to Morocco. I would suggest you take some extra DNA tests with you too just in case you come into contact with someone who think they may be related to you. You seem like a great guy Ryan and I'm sure your family is so very proud of the young man you've become. All the best to you.!
Thank you for the comment some days i am thankful for being chosen but some days i wish someone else was chose but i am trying to keep a positive mind. My adoptive mother has done an amazing job with everything i have put her through am very thankful. I dont know why i am searching but all my mind is telling me is to search. I will try this DNA test as i have not heard of YDNA but I have done FTDNA again thank you for taking the time to comment.
@@ryananderson4683 Good luck with your search. I understand your drive to find your birth family. Life is like a book and the first chapter of your book is blank. I would feel exactly as you do if this had happened to me. I would want to know the whole story even if the beginning of it was a sad or tragic. It's your story and it set the course for the rest your life to follow. All the best to you!
Ryan I don't know what to say. I used to work in the barber shop you came into and you were always up for a laugh n joke. Would never have thought this was in the back of your mind. I had a break down 3 years ago and struggle to this day with mental health. You should be super proud of yourself 👏 never victims, always a warrior!
