this is a classic example of a guy who's not used to the written league..the battle scene has changed..he did well for freestyling so props to him..it's easy to say he was weak and criticize the fella but he freestyled a lot more than what others can..but yeah,its a written league so maybe he'll come prepared next time. *one last thing on that first judge (white guy)*..yes SamIAm mentioned he was freestyling a lot but who cares? it was filler but he had to do what he had to do to get thru it.
SamIAm's first 4 bars of his second verse were Fresco's last 4 bars of his first verse backwards! Also those Metroid/ Samus lines were ill as fuck. If this battle was in the west coast they would have gotten way more of a reaction, more nerds.

In scribble jam 08', in a freestyle battle against Sam I Am, fresco said 'your girls vaginas like a giant cave, i split her hymen, climb inside her and i hibernate' and then he says 'Your girls vaginas still the giant cave, I hibernate and hide, shit I got a microwave, a ride, and a fireplace inside'.. sadly, it went over almost everyones head in there..
this was the best battle I've seen in a while, because it involved freestyle, that's real hip hop. Grind Time is like Jay Z, killing hip hop. Every judge that dissed the freestyle needs to quit rapping if they do, real talk. I mean Fresco won I guess, but the freestyle was more impressive to me, takes more talent. All these emcees that can't freestyle should just quit in my opinion, they're not real emcees at all in my opinion.
