  • Half of Russian verbs are Reflexive. It's very simple when you know it.

    Brilliant! This helps so much with listening! It reminds me of the Spanish se particle, as in maquillarse, put makeup on one's self. Even though Spanish puts the particle before the verb, it's starting to click!

      I am having trouble responding to questions in Russian.. If Someone asks what I was doing.. How would I respond?

      You respond using past tense. In Russian there is just one past tense that is talking about anything that happened before now. So, what were you doing?/ Что ты делаЛ? The answer can be: I worked/ I was working/ я работаЛ
